There were a lot of people who attempted to fight like that, and would get owned. I saw a fight whrere one dude would do that fancy stuff, or al least try to, then throw some sloppy-ass over-the-head haymaker. Then there wre the dudes who you couldn't tell which angle they were coming from. There was one dude I remember from back in the days, that had one bad eye, and would tear you up (I don't believe in name-dropping, so I'll leave him nameless).
