  • @lisavesci1 try giving it a shot of whisky and punching it in the gut

  • Is Sparks older? I have a 10 year old dog, who has facial twitches where her jaw does the same thing as your cats did. Or half her face with tense up and she'll gag. Or she'll do what it seems like is grinding her teeth. I know it's cat and dog, but I'm pretty sure our pets have the same problem. Or mild seizures. Good luck and health for Sparks. ):

  • boring. where the fuck is the seizure?

  • My poor cat has been suffering almost since he was born (fucker ate a piece of chocolate that Olive Garden puts in their meals for take out). I don't even like chocolate, so imagine my surprise to see a chocolate bar with cat teeth in it, took me forever to figure out where it came from. I don't think there is treatment for it, just medicating it, and hoping it doesn't happen. It's sad, they keep getting worse. Have you ever been able to get your cat out of a seizure by hugging him? I have once

  • 60,000 cats die a year due to epileptic seizures...

    Be careful!

  • awwwww =[ i love cats and i hate to see them like that

  • Get well Sparks :)

  • My prayers go out to all the people that experience seizures, and all the pets that experience seizures. Its not right. I wish we can all live in a world where nothing bad happens. My God bless you all.

  • i hate to see any animal in distress. it makes me sad every time :( I hope she's feeling well now!

  • My cat doesnt do this but my dg does.....and it;s not fun to watch your pet going crazy not knowing whats going on..all you can do is hope that they dont really hurt themselves,

  • My dog has epilepsy and takes Phenobarb daily and he doesn't have any symptoms if I keep him on his medicine. Hope Sparks is doing ok now...

  • i cant see anything

  • Your poor kitty!! I have epilepsy too so I know how your kitty feels. It is very scary to have a seizure and lose control of your body and lose memory/awareness. I'm very sorry for your poor kitty, but you are doing the right thing by letting her recover in her own way - just being there to comfort her if she needs it or just letting her go off and hide too - sometimes that's the best way for them to deal with it. Hopefully your vet has her on a good treatment! God bless you and your kitty!

  • Was this in the recovery stage or was this a mild one??

  • the cameraman put peanut butter in its mouth

  • aw i feel bad for your cat.. its so nice and gentle

  • I think its great that u are so affectionate to her becuase it has got to be scary to go through..

  • My cat has these small seizures once in a while.

She starts rolling around and rubbing her face everywhere and when we interupt her she runs off blindly.

She hit our piano a few days ago :(

  • Were you ever able to treat this? My cat started going through this yesterday, and we still don't know what will come of it.

  • my cats going through this.... i have.. no idea what to do.. I had to put her in her kennel because she was hitting the walls so hard.. . When I tried to hold her, she would growl and scratch me... I .. am scared ill lose her....

  • @MajinTrista

get your cat to a vet asap!

there are treatments for this - both through conventional vets as well as holistic vets. DON'T WAIT!

  • Its sad to see ur cat acting that way. I can just imagine how you feel every time ur cat does this. I have full respect for u and ur cat man!! Best wishes to you and ur cat
