The tunning of the guitar is in Drop D or 1/2 step down? Because, when I play Heart Shaped Box in Drop D, it doesn't sound good. Also, if a tune my guitar in 1/2 step down, the 6th string doesn't sound too low.

@avengedbulletgrace He's not if you listen he says the guitar is tuned a half step down, on top of drop D. Logically that would make the strings C#/Db G#/Ab C#/Db F#/Gb A#/Bb D#/Eb.

This should be called the Linkin Park/Grunge tunning because almost all linkin park songs are in this tunning and in utero is all in this tunning and alice in chains used it quite a bit as well its a a really cool tuning.

Normally you would make each 5th fret sound like the next string Ex. the 5th fret on low E would be equivilent to the open A here your just gonna do the same except it is the 8th fret on the E equivilent to the A then repeated except for the G string which you would make the 7th fret equivilent to the B
