They ignore us and put us down unless we support the thing which they spent a few late nights writing, and will improve their careers enormously. The onus has been on them (The Commission), for quite a while, to apologize, write a new treaty, and convince us the EU staff are ready to leave their shady ways behind them, and approach democracy.

Power should again be vested in the nation states of the EU who can be controlled by its citizens. The democratic deficit must be closed if the EU is to continue to exist.
The CAP is a corrupt and wasteful sham of a policy. The idea put forward by eurocrats that the EU through its institutions and policies is somehow perfect is a joke. The EU in its current form should be abolished and replaced with a commonwealth of independent nation states. Their is nothing wrong with governments co-operating in many areas but the political aspect should remain with the nations whose governments can be elected and rejected at the ballot box.
No it is to do with ensuring food securuity your ideas were tried in the past an lead to malnutrition and famine. Your ideas would be a disaster for people. You would destory the lives of many people with your right wing extremist free market ideas. It would be like the grapes of wrath all over again Read it up.

As I stated in my previous posts there is nothing wrong with co-operation between countries. However those who hold power must be elected. The next major war that will take place in Europe will be between those who hold unaccountable power and the people who have had enough!
It is not undemocratic. Thye arew appopinted by elected leaders. So it is as undemocratic as the civil service. Will we have a war between the queen and the people.
The EU is undemocratic as the decisions are made by either the Council of Ministers or the Commission both unelected. Civil Servants work for the Government and implement policy but they do not decide the policies or laws they follow or enforce. Ministers and other elected politicians can and should be the only ones to do that. If the EU continues any further expansion or encroachment it will be a superstate with an unelected and unaccountable Government. BTW I am a Republican Fuck The Queen!
