No this is the right name but frankensenseronulato is wrong. Sonic 1 for SEGA Genesis is 16-bit. Sonic 1 for Game Gear is 8-bit so the tunes wouldn't be the exact same song.

Actually, Sonic 1 on the Game Gear was a port of the Mega Drive game. So it's from both games and they'd be the same exact song since they're 8-bit games.

This was from the game Sonic 1 on the Master system, later ported onto the Game Gear - a portable version of the Master System. It was released after the Genesis version, and has nothing to do with it. This music is from the second level of the aforementioned Master System game. That's about as much as I know.
