  • Lovely Bouncy Tune :)

  • JUST GREAT...

  • YOU'RE RIGHT! PAUL'S THE BEST!!! I've loved this song from the first time I ever listened to it : D

  • I have that record<3

  • a tasty little track he probably tossed off in his sleep. Nobody can conjure up catchy melodies the way he can.

  • Has that Beatles type whimsy! Love this tune. It has a some retro sound too, that old dance hall thing! Reminds me of "You gave Me The Answer" from "Venus and mars".

  • ...Great upload, but isn't the pitch a bit too high? I remember this song to be a bit lower. :)

  • Wonderful tune. Love it with all my heart.

  • Wonderful! Never tire of this brilliant song.

  • Thanks for posting. Haven't listened to this gem for ages. He really should release a box set set with b-sides and other rarities that were never released on cd.

  • Contains all the elements of a classic McCartney-song.

  • "Ballroom Dancing" is great, but "I'll Give You A Ring" is certainly superior to "Dress Me Up Like A Robber" or "The Pound Is Sinking".

  • every song that a hear from paul mccartney is a brilliant gem

  • This song should have been on Tug Of War as it is a superior song to lightweights like "Ballroom Dancing" or "Dress me up as a robber".

  • Should have been on the album.

  • Bloody Hell. I'd forgotten all about this! Used to bung on the pub juke box all the time!

  • paul mccartney=wizard!!!!!!

  • one of my personal favroites

  • always loved this song

  • Does anybody have this song in mp3 format???

  • Wow! I told forgot about that fuzz guitar on this song. I probably haven't heard this in some thing like 25 years.

  • great song, kind of reminds me of his song "the other me"

  • What a fun song !

  • Wow, this song is simply brilliant ; nothing less than expected from the one and only, only one Sir Paul McCartney.

  • Wow, real surprise.

  • i love this song YEAHHHH asome Paul XD

  • The guitar sounds a lot like Brian May's unique guitar! This song is so awesome.

  • Wow! I never knew that Paul actually released this song. The only version I ever heard was in One Hand Clapping. It was right next to his "Suicide" segment, so I just assumed it shared the same fate.

  • Great bass line...great song.

  • O_o Gawd. I like the old version better...But...^^ Speechless. Love this song!! Rock on Paul.

    -Miss McCartney

  • Can't believe my eyes, I must be dreaming!

  • This song is a pure moment of pleasure, I love the rythm and melody. Thank you very much.

  • Well c'mon, call me then...

  • The King of modern music! The songs of McCartney are classical in a modern age! How can do that!?

  • The Real King Of Pop!

  • @manuel9316 thats what i always say lol

  • @manuel9316 Hell yes.

  • It's a very nice song, recorded during the Tug Of War sessions. It somewhat reminds me of 'Let Em In'

  • Well this song was written during Wings early 70's. You can see him performing it in 1974 on One Hand Clapping. Ed

  • Quite correct! Not only was this tune an outtake from the One Hand Clapping sessions, but Paul had done a demo in early 1974 ("The Piano Tape").

  • Yeah George. You know Paul was so prolific that he said he would go out to dinner with friends ( when a Beatle) and he would get drunk. He would start singing songs no one had heard. He was making them up on the spot. The next day a friend would ask him to sing that song you did last night. He had already forgotten it. He was lucky to remember the songs on the Band On The Run demo that was stolen in Africa when they got attacked and mugged. Ed

  • One of Paul's best!

  • @corg22 Great...this is Solo paul Mccartney...working class bloke...I'd like to credit linda, but she was from big money...no it was James paul in the family setting. I like to imagine he was a great Daddy for his lot. Hope he takes the time to be a Grandad now a days.....that's more important than any of our cheers

  • @corg22 I love Paul!!!

  • Why wasn't this an A side???

  • very underrated song.very clever but simple.

  • always loved this song

  • wish I could find this on a cd. When will he ever release all of his b-sides? Put "em all on one disc I say and call it "B-side to the Seaside". Can't find that rare one either.

  • Great song !!! I believe it apears in the One Hand Clapping video too, right ?

How much artits have B-sides that sounds like an A-side ?? McCartney and Beatles are the only one. I hope you understand my english :-)

  • Excellent!!!

  • IT´S GREAT!!
