  • Nowdays we make plants in factories. But no one make electrical equipments in fields.

  • ...Funny Little Fellas...

  • Awesome idea, wonderful realization.

Just one question: how can you say that it's done without editing? I saw some parts in stop motion.

Come on my channel and see a completely different short. "Drinking the sea" it's a short that i did years ago, that won several national prices. Is it real or fake? Is there someone really DYING? Try to guess

  • Awesome! Well done, very creative-

  • hola esta bueno pasaate x el mioo.,!!!!

  • hey asshat? you can do all of that just using the camera, there really was no editing.... dumbshit

Thank's!!! Keep up the good work!!

  • awesome. 5 stars.

  • At last a story!

  • Well the concept of growing electronic devices like crops isn't too far fetched, if you use solar power to work the machinery, extract the minerals from the ground with mechanical roots, and take carbon out of the air using a filter, than you either have the factory of the future, or this garden.

  • That was great!!

  • nice :)

  • A very nice story.

    Thanx for putting it in!

    :-)

  • That was pretty darn cool.

    'Fav'd and rated.

  • Awesommeee

  • cool

  • oh this would be very cool to do but I do not use film anymore. Its a great medium but it can be expensive.

  • are the B&W Super 8 Cartridges still available? if so whare may I order them?

  • I loved this!

  • im sure thats not the first time you've said suck it faggot... if you don't like critiques then don't give me one.

  • jo alles goeie

  • Great work Mr Scott, good to see this up on you tube. for those out there not sure how the straight 8 works, I suggest you give it a go, its serious stuff.

  • ¡ʇno pǝddıןɟ ɯ,ı

  • without any post-production is a little misleading. There is obviously an added soundtrack and voice over.

Without any editing yes. Post-production? No.

  • the sound track was made before the film had been seen by the director or anyone else: perhaps it might be described as simultanious production, but not post(?)

  • ur a LICK-A-LOLAPUSS

  • dont talk shit about total

  • so what if it was filmed without any editing or postproduction(which i dont think it was)... is that supposed to make it good?

  • I can def believe this was done on 1 super 8 cartridge, but no post production?

that would mean the band and narrator followed the camera and crew around for every shot, plus did it all in one take. It can be done with a painfully high attention to detail, sound levels and a heap of other variables that come with filming sound and narration OUTSIDE! I just dont believe that this type of film was done in this manner. I tried the "one take" thing once in 1997. amature, yes. but honest.

  • From the looks of it, everyone wants to sow in fetile soil.

  • I just love this GREAT ENDESS STARS :o)

  • No post-production? How about the background music and the voice over?

  • wtf is this?

  • Bull shit! There are no flash frames and there is more than one type of film stock. TOTAL BULLSHIT!

  • wanna bet? i assure you it isn't. when this film premiered at cannes film festival it was shown from the original super 8 film (the very same piece that ran through the camera)

there were no cuts and you cannot print from reversal on super 8.

flash frames are not a problem with most super 8 cameras (or any i've encountered)

  • Wow! Thats all I can say wow!

  • This narrator is the English equivalent of the Herbert from Family Guy.

  • the way of popular technology in a 3 min video with all its ups and downs.

    outstanding.

  • holy shit thats a fucking mirror lol lmao jk lol

  • Wait a minute! That's not funny!

  • Believe me, I understand. In my production of Trailer Trek I used VHS, Super-VHS, 16MM movie film, linear editing for the film and digital editing for the sound and music. I am fully aware of how to 'adapt'! But the one thing I have that you probably don't is that I filed bankrupsy over that production! haha....try to match that!!! haha!

  • dont promote your own videos dumbass

  • copied my video

  • pretty slow mymovineindex but worth a watch

  • This film is great but your description is confusing. No editing? No post-production?? Where did the voice over and music bed come from? Was it magically recorded on location in real time without a hint of background noise?? NO way.

  • Absolutely seconded, there's no way why post the BS description.

  • Really nice. I really liked the story and the whole 'edited in camera' and "super 8" look fits the piece very well. I miss working on Super 8. I did two or three films on Super 8 when I first started shooting stuff.

  • mmmhh????????????

  • Great story, and editing in camera is difficult. The pacing was also well crafted. Could have used more towards and away movements rather than all across the screen though, but just my opinion.

  • this is great

  • Very well done.

  • This was great!

  • Holy WOW~! Really Great!

  • Nice vid =). nice music too.

  • Matt is a retard

  • totally copied my video

  • so funny! It's so wry, I love it! k, here's my plug: Watch THE WITCH AND THE DEVIL'S SON; crack the code and win. Prizes to be announced. (hint: use the second video to help you crack the code!) good luck!

  • hehee that was funny LOL :D:D

  • Is there a second part? I want more.

  • good

  • you search: "monkey island pianoforte"

  • In the United States Kodak discontinued production of Regular 8 mm film back in 1992. I know because I bought the last six roles in my state. I thought Super 8 cartridges were discontinued about 4 years after that. If you have filmed with Kodacrome or Ecktacrome, then you are a REAL filmamaker! Digital made it too easy for film makers to put crap on the internet! Your work is excellent!
