Get you're facts straight buddy, character customization was avalible on Dreamcast. Also, Avatar's were before PS3 Home Beta so PS Home copied 360.

Also, the 360 and Miis have more user-friendly creation than the PS3.

Don't get me wrong, they are all good but I prefer the 360 avatars.

PSH was in the making long before New Expierience was,MS had to find somthing to try to compete with it and so is the new expierience. MS spend alot less time making the new expierience. Friendly obviously doesnt matter, its about depth. Bleep Bloop are all just a bunch of 360 fanboys, just like nearly every American (Im American too) but its true. I honestly just hate MS for coping the Wii and PS3 so much, not very original.

They're for newer games such as Halo 3: ODST. They're probably earned by achievements to the relevant game, but the awards grant you new avatar items, like awards earned by playing Halo 3: ODST gives you the full ODST Combat Suit and an ODST Helmet (That's all I know that is confirmed material).

I suspect games like Bioshock 2 & perhaps Modern Warfare 2 would have awards too. But I think avatar games are gonna be the most common types of games to have them (I cannot say that with certainty).
