i watched this vid yesterday and had a dream that i went camping in england and when i came home to toronto and walked into my place my t.v. was on the floor and my laptop was dented... caused by an... EARTHQUAKE... lol & as i was waking up today, kinda asleep/kinda awake, all i could think of was that it was a good thing that I bought the extra year/no fault warranty on my laptop... haha... yeah i agree kinda lame... :)

i haven't even heard the word "earthquake" mentioned in months, but this morning when i woke up, i read a short story miranda july wrote in her book "noone belongs here more than you" about a woman who had bad reoccurring dreams about earthquakes and taught earth quake safety at a nonprofit.

normally, i wouldn't tell someone about such a coincidence, but.. i had to say something because i really hope you like miranda july. =)

There was a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in New Zealand just a couple of days ago. Maybe you were having premonitions of it?!!!

Luckily it was in a remote area, so no casualties. Would have been a different story if it had hit in one of the major cities though.

NZ sits on top of a fault line so it's a bit scary :-(

Windows are an open and shut case. We have a window that has jammed shut for years and my dad has nagged me for the same number of years to get it fixed. The excuse I've used all this time is " if we can't open it then no burglar can either!"...Let's hope my dad doesn't watch this video! :P

Both my wife and I have survival kits in each of our cars. Sadly we live in a 2nd floor apartment. Any gap larger than 8" is considered an escape point by the prison system. Especially for an elf like you.
