  • yes vector...before I bought the flat tab wire I flaten round wire with a hamer. Flat tabing wire is not expensive and clear crystaline resin is only $15. I use this panel for most of my solar experiments I am very happy with the results. Thanks.

  • Well done. For me the main advantage of flat tabbing wire is that it allows for a thinner space between the front side of the cells and the glass. Regular wire (say 24 AWG) lifts the cell quite a bit more which also makes it more fragile if you accidentally press down too hard.

  • fibreglass about time i found i mean electricians use fibreglass laders der... why xpensive stuff when u can just cote it with that yeah!!!

  • @1overlordi Yes that is right, and it works fine. I have some commercial solar leds that only lasted 2 yrs. Thanks for your comments.

  • For even a practice panel this is very well built,

    Damn good job

  • - What kind of resin are you using? could you give me the link please?

    - how long does it last to harden?

    - how strong it becomes after it hardens?

    - is it totally water proof after that?

thanks a lot again for your time and hoipe to hear from you soon,
