  • dont feed the trolls

  • It's coming !!!! look out oil people

  • Compressing air produces a lot of heat.

    That heat is just wasted...

    Very uneconomic.

  • RON PAUL 2012!@)!@

  • hehehe i was impressed when they said he'd taken out more than 30 patents. I looked it up on wikipedia and their biggest innovation is combining fuel with the compressed air to double energy output. (Which was first used in torpedoes in 1904)

  • hoping to be on the road by 2004 you say? lol fail

  • This video is from 2008,this comment is from end of 2011,and...nothing happened. if they developed this at the rate of i-phone generations, this car would not only run on air,it should fly through the air...

  • Não entendo pq nosso querido presidente Dilma não incentiva essa tecnologia aqui no Brasil.

  • Nothing leaves the planet, just changes form. Eventually it gets back to oil.

  • It would be impossible for this planet to run out of oil FYI.

  • its like a balloon filled with air and released into the air but this car the compressed air is released the engine air forcing pistons to move back & forth similar to a combustion engine.

  • the motor is noisy in this report but on the company's website its super quiet. w.mdi.lu/

  • WALLINGTON LIBRARY SOLAR PANEL ACCURIST LADY GORDON BROWN

  • ecologically friendly ? really / looks like alot of plastic in it.

  • This car runs on nuclear or coal which powers the compressor that provides the air. Solar compressors are simply too inefficient. Most petroleum goes to planes, heavy trucks, heavy equipment, trains, and military vehicles. How do you power them with wind, solar, air etc. Small cars yes, but not the backbone of out infrastructure. Grow a brain.

  • HARRY

  • People can be so easily fooled, this is a scam all the way.

  • @luvjwtyt11 fuck you

  • @luvjwtyt11 Your a smuck

  • @truthseeker010101 And you're a gullible fool to believe the lies from this bunch of con artists with their actual 5 mile range 6hp 6 hour recharge POC

  • @fizzguts this is not a scam, its people trying to do something good with a bunch of smucks like you raining on thier parade. Fuck off

  • @truthseeker010101 It 's a stupid con has been since 1996 that could only work as claimed when pink unicorns take over the world.

But I'll make you my standard offer find ONE INDEPENDENT test confirming MDI's lies opps claims and I'll pull all my posts and sing MDI's praises

    Hello?

    Silence?

    Sigh Tards and Fwits

  • @luvjwtyt11 I know, I can't believe you were fooled by the oil companies. Why wouldn't this work?

  • @MRG8091Quote " Why wouldn't this work" Define Work. if you mean crawl around with a 6 hp engine for about 5 miles then it works. If you mean the pathetic lies MDI post to con technically incompetent morons to invest in a franchise then I guess they work for MDi. If you mean it is useful transportation then it is a miserable fail.

  • This car is not zero-pollution, it depends how is produced the electricity you use for the compressor that recharges its reservoirs. More than 50% of electricity produced in the world is from fossil-fuel power plants. And a big amount of heat is rejected by the compressor during the recharge. This heat could warm up a swimming pool. Moreover, in cold countries, we need a heater for the cabin of the car, which is powered by the residual heat from the combustion. The air motor produces cold.

  • Wich the mafia oil company will allow you to make your own energy, your own car?

  • @glup2glup

Yea that's right no one can own an electric car or built their own electric car...............Except they can, just not many people do because it's economically STUPID. The air car is worse a STUPID short range and horribly inefficient.

  • driving a car makes you aggressive

  • i don't have money for a car anyway

driving a car sucks after a while

  • The tires are made from OIL.

Every tire made in the world has about 7 quarts of oil in it.

Great car, but it still needs oil in the form of tires to use it.

Maybe they can create a car tire that doesn't use oil then we'll have a zero oil car to use.

  • And what comes in

    also comes out!

  • air is nature friendly :)

    air is everywhere

    air is for free :D

  • air tank is better than normal batterie

  • I want that car!!!

  • This is the future! The only way to get rid of the nuclear power plants.

And it still sounds like a car!

  • @flaperke A 5 mile range, using 5 times more power than a electric vehicle for the same distance is the future? Want to buy a bridge?

  • @fizzguts

    Sunenergy is for free

    I don't care about silly energy! ;D

  • @KOmaSHOOTER So the sun is free, so your house and car is entirely solar powered right. No like 99.9999% of the world you can't afford the horrendous cost of solar panels and certainly not the $20,000 worth this short range (5 miles) inefficient piece of crap needs with it's 6 hour recharge time if you use a 6 kw compressor.

You of course having flunked science won't check this out but you will believe a video from a bunch of hucksters on youtube

  • @fizzguts

oh 6 hours? maby they can make it faster

  • @fizzguts

recharge when you go to sleep! :-D

  • @KOmaSHOOTER Recharge overnight and go 5 miles right. Your brain is asleep.

  • @fizzguts

You can drive 200 Kilometers with one air tank.

Every day. It's enough if you live in a city

  • @KOmaSHOOTER "You can drive 200 Kilometers with one air tank" NOPE MDI lie, they have only ever published one test and in that this piece of crap went 7.22km, long ago removed from their web site but you can Google it. There has never been any independent test of their cars for range. It's just a con, a $20 million 15 year old con. If you are so sure this swindle is real find ONE INDEPENDENT TEST confirming MDI's lies opps claims and I'll pull all my posts

    Hello?

    Silence?

    Sigh

  • @fizzguts

    check this video

    /watch?v=uVIwropRMME

"This car can run 200km without polluting the atmosphere..."

  • @KOmaSHOOTER FOR FUCKS SAKE what part of INDEPENDENT TEST don't you understand. Some reporter with the science knowledge of a concrete lamp post repeating MDI BULLSHIT is not a TEST. Pay attention NO ONE has EVER stood up and said "I drove 200kms before it ran out of air and here are the witnesses" because it HAS NOT HAPPENED. Even the loonies at MDI call it when pressed a "PREDICTION". Well I predict this CON will keep fooling scientific no nothings like yourself forever.

  • @fizzguts

It's better than stupid electric power in batteries

The electric car can drive only 50 Km

the air car can drive 200 Km :-P

  • @KOmaSHOOTER I'd like a citation about where you get your 200Km range.

  • @marcdepuma

    /watch?v=uVIwropRMME

This car can run 200km without polluting the atmosphere

  • @KOmaSHOOTER

    200km Bwahahaha

No it won't and the video of MDI TELLING LIES is not the same as PROOF. There is no tests ANYWHERE showing this piece of shit going more than about 5 miles

  • @fizzguts

    yes, maby you are right

the car industry is lieing to us because of the oil industry.

I guess they both have a contract to fool us all

  • @fizzguts What Oil Company do you represent?

  • @filmputzer How much does MDI pay you to shill this pathetic CON?

  • @filmputzer show a it were it goes more than 5 miles on a charge

  • At :36 I think you can see the house that was used in the film The Dogs Of War where Christopher Walken's hotel was. Belize makes an ideal dirt poor African country prop, even supplies it's own black peoplen who look dirt poor!

  • What powers the air compressor ? What ever you want to power it , clean or dirty energy !

  • Nice concept but what powers the the air compressor ?

  • @teedome3284 $2.00 elec. to fill, plug into any outlet shown in newer vids

  • @Okam85 and go 5 miles. Whee.

  • @fizzguts this model says 150km range it about 93.2miles a tank the newer ones have about 200-250 mile range. this model goes 110km/h and is about 68mph and the newer ones go about 70mph

  • @Okam85 Oh really? Tell you what you find ONE INDEPENDENT TEST that confirms MDI's lies, opps claims, and I'll pull all my posts and sing my praises of MDI to the heavens.

    Hello?

    Silence?

    Sigh

FACT It has about a 5 mile range and a 6hp motor.

  • @fizzguts im not ganna hold your hand, just go to Florida and see for yourself. Also on a side note buy silver

  • I have this big pile of money, just sent me a little bit of cash and I will sent you that big pile of money next year. This con never stop.

  • So that was seven years ago. Where the hell are our air-powered cars?

  • that car is loud as shit

  • I wonder if the bozo near the end of the video who talked about how "dangerous" a tank of compressed air would be in an accident has ever realized that gasoline is one of the most flammable substances we use in our daily lives.

  • Inventor's terminal cancer courtesy of Verichip? - Bob Boyce, who has invented a super-efficient electrolysis method, as well as a self-looping electrical circuit capable of charging batteries, discovered a microchip implant in his shoulder when having a tumor removed from that spot, which metastasized. It turns out the chip was made by VeriChip. (PESN; Nov. 28, 2009)

  • 2004???

  • so the air compressors run on pixie dust?

  • @heybulldog13 Actually this guy has developed an Air Compressor that runs on compressed air also. This means that they will hopefully develop a "looped" system that will run the car and run the generator to refill the air tanks that run the car (and the air compressor...). Interesting concept. Fill it up one time and drive forever.

  • @JackHL "Actually this guy has developed an Air Compressor that runs on compressed air also"

    And you've seen it operating?

    BWAHAHAHA

Would you like to buy a bridge?

  • @fizzguts It is people like Negre who will keep trying and developing things until they come up with the next viable option. Internal Combustion engines were never a good Idea. They just took the stage first and the fuel makers & sellers like having them around. Companies like Tesla Motors and all the other "Alternative" fuel car developers are putting it all on the line to make things better. Hope your bridge hold up :-).

  • @JackHL Nope air engines predate the internal combustion engine. They were swept away by IC engines as the inescapable physics condemns them to be always short range & horribly inefficient. As you have no scientific education so you are a prime target for scammers like MDi or the hundreds of magnet motor freaks. I notice you are now not defending the complete lie MDI has a compressor that runs on compressed air so it can recharge itself. Second thoughts?

  • @fizzguts The Model T didn't have the gas milage or range that a Honda Civic has today. New technologies that get the money and attention as the IC has received will grow similarly. I have little doubt there can be an air compressor that runs on compressed air. What matters is that the concept is just one more possibility, among thousands of other opportunities, that is worth exploring. If you have "scientific education" maybe you can develop our future transportation. Hint: it's not IC.

  • @JackHL "I have little doubt there can be an air compressor that runs on compressed air." Yes and you can also believe in unicorns, the jaberwook and the the tooth fairy. HOWEVER that doesn't make them real. To paraphrase your own words. If you had a "scientific education" you would understand this is a miserable CON.

As far as development expansion engines ie air, steam etc have a 300year history and the limits are completely understood

The Douglas Self website has some of the history

  • @fizzguts How it this a CON if he is not trying to sell me something? He is DRIVING a compressed air powered car. The air powered compressor is the next idea. His car runs in the city. It is a fact. A hybrid version can go more distance. The point you miss is that the quest for our next source of transportation energy will require many people trying many things. Your scientific education must have trained you to have the last word. An open mind is more appropriate. Don't bother.

  • @JackHL "How it this a CON if he is not trying to sell me something?" Why don't you go to the actual MDI site and answer your own stupid questions The whole model of MDI production is to sell franchises. So far well over $20 million with NOTHING to show for it other than various kiddy cars crawling round a parking lot with a pathetic under 10km range. You mistake my having an open mind for you having an empty head. If you can't or won't look at the physics you can not comment

  • @JackHL that would be considered ''perpetual motion'' aint happening...period. the compressor can run on compressed air, but, energy must be injected in to the loop.

  • Shitty look but good idea.

  • Interesting how some hobbyist are able to create car that runs on compressed air but Mr Guy Negre is still waiting for more investments.

  • "If you've got control of the energy,

then you've got control of the people."

  • I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN THAT CLUNKER GO OVER 6 MPH HAHHA ITS A SCAM AND HAS BEEN SINCE DAY ONE THIS MAN IS TAKING MONEY FROM DUMMY INVESTORS EYE BALLING A PROTO ON A ENGINE STAND

  • Today we are using the energy source discovered 150 years ago to get us to work and to the grocery store. Do we use candles to light our homes? Do we use tubes to power our radios and TVs? Do we cool our houses with blocks of ice? No, no and no! So why do we continue to blindly define transportation energy on an 150 year old discovery that we know is causing climate change, funding terrorism and is in finite supply?

  • Answers: the massive air tanks are integrated into the frame of the car

the massive air tanks are made of carbon fiber so are not dangerous like metal that fragments

the massive air tanks are massive

  • Comment removed

  • @Zoidborg1 A 180L tank does not "intergrate into the frame" The tanks if they let go are a major explosion hazard. CNG carbon fiber composite tanks have similar pressure. The EDO carbon fiber tank that let go in Korea destroyed the bus and seriously injured passengers. MDI LIES

  • Laws against the Suppression of Technology should be written into the criminal code.

  • @bigsugar999 Laws against people believing stupid air car cons should tattooed on morons fore heads

  • Boom San Agustin

However, my own experience tells a very daunting tale of greed! I tried, in 2004, to get some investors in my country to deal with MDI for the distribution of the Air Car here. The investors were very excited at first; but later, we had to stop. There were threats given to one of my investors to discontinue the venture and he feared for his life and his family’s life. I don’t know who did it; but I’m sure someone stood to lose a lot .

  • the technolgy is great, but why does every green vehicle (except the tesla roadster) have to be so fuckin ugly?!?! i like the idea of an air car but i would never drive a car that looks like these.

  • COMPRESSED AIR:

  • A BRIEF HISTORY OF AIR CARS For half a century the air-powered locomotive was a serious contender for the top spot in transportation because of its obvious advantages: simplicity, safety, economy, and cleanliness. Air engines were commercially available and used routinely, first as metropolitan street transit and later for haulage in mines.

  • Why arn't these available? This is something that needs to be out NOW!

  • @MrCowboyJesus > Most of us agree , we do need these now , but they have been suppressed for decades by big OIL COMPANIES , until we address that we will never see ANY true competition that cuts into there profits ! Even desperately needed green technology , as we destroy this great earth with toxic ,dirty , cancer causing oil , nuclear and coal energy systems !

  • @MrCowboyJesus The actual range is about 5 miles. They are a CON. MDI's business is selling franchisees to technically illiterate idiots. The energy used per mile is five times more than and electric car

  • @fizzguts Really? I would like to find out more about this.

  • @MrCowboyJesus

    If you google the following

    vencat 20 miles

    rexresearch negre

    e.volution south africa

    berkerly air car

you will find a history of broken promises and poor results.

In the only published MDI test the air car went 7.2km they then explained by a series of completely illogical guesses this could be extended to 140km. This test was removed from their website some 5 years ago.

If you want to examine the physics behind compressed air vehicles join the yahoo group.

  • Technology to Reduce Dependence on Oil has Been Known For More Than 200 years - "Among the more than 350 documents/videos concerning the energy scam you will find: There is an abundant supply of oil in Alaska • 376-mpg technology was demonstrated in 1973 • 72-mpg and 104-mpg automobiles were sold in Europe • The Japanese have two water fueled automobiles on the street." (Veterans Today; March 31, 2010)

  • ths it's the new future for cheap and not polluttant power engines.in plus for more autonomy can make and put some air compressors machines alimentated form 12 v acumulators.but that tehnology it unacceptable for all companies whos work for fuel engines products because all petroleum companies becoming to faliment

  • Please, CNN... Use a competent reporter who knows something about energy! Your job is to tell me how many kwh's the electrical compressor needs to compress air for a certain distance of driving. (e.g. 100 km). This gives the efficiency of the car. The world is at the edge of the cliff. Do your job and educate me..!

  • @bingorev 5 times more than the electricity for an electric car. It's a short range (5 miles) low power (8hp) piece of crap Google vencat 20 miles

  • Please, CNN... Use a competent reporter who knows something about energy! Your job is to tell me how many kwh's the electrical compressor needs to compress air for a certain distance of driving. • Suppression of Energy Technologies

    This article by Christopher Walter

Red Wheel Time magazine August 17 July 1995 (p.46) are rounding up the future technologies that are going to severely change the world as we know it.

They correctly point out that a change in the usage of energy would have a massive impact, but then promise

  • "The first company to design an affordable car that doesn't foul the atmosphere will race past it's competitors."

Not only are they totally wrong, but they're probably lying. The simple fact is the technology has been with us for most of this past century, it's just that it would free us from the enslavement by oil companies, and government, to allow us to utilize it.

  • Death Threats to Guy Negre, inventor of the air powered car

    Posted by on 2000-10-25 09:43:43

    contributed by jabela

Wheels 24 reports,"A car that could revolutionise the motor industry and which led to death threats against the designer will be unveiled at the Auto Africa show in Johannesburg next week."

  • This guy is widely known as a crook in France, every year he says that the compressed air car will be for the next year, he has already been sued by many partners. Google for guy negre you will see what I mean !

  • This is definitely an interesting idea. I believe that american automotive producers should adopt this idea, modify the design of the car, and sell it. I'd buy it.

  • Plasma-assisted engines run more efficiently, cleaner

Voltage applied to the atomized fuel stream prior to combustion generates a plasma in the fuel that breaks down the long chains of hydrocarbons into smaller molecules, allowing a more complete burn.

Applied Plasma Technologies is an independent American laboratory, which spearheaded the plasma assisted combustion technology in 1979, and has been collaborating with Los Alamos National Laboratories for the past two years.

  • In Paul Pantone's Shadow

    Dear Sterling,

Do you realize the importance of the Los Alamos article on plasma combustion?

This is further validation of GEET technology. Paul has maintained for years that the electrical forces inherent in a GEET device ripped the hydrocarbon chains apart. The presence of the electrical force implies existence of a corresponding magnetic force which is very strong in a GEET device… strong enough to wipe out your credit cards’ magnetic strips.

  • Comment removed

  • Paul Pantone was railroaded through a series of bizarre legal maneuvers by powerful and corrupt conspirators into a State Mental Hospital in Provo Utah where he resides today. He's supposed to be incompetent for claiming that one can fuel a car with mostly water . How did this happen? In the year 2000, Paul Pantone was offered many millions of dollars to sell off his rights to GEET. Paul was clearly threatened that there would be serious consequences to his future if he did not.

  • Paul Pantone created a Plasma GEET engine that could run on water, crude oil or soda. He is now imprisoned and tortured in Utah Mental institution. Freedom in USA? I wonder. Plus Pantone offer his designs for FREE so that everyone can build one to see for themselves. Good luck Pantone. Google GEET Plans free.

  • @Topazman12 >>> This is so sad , especially in America 'Land of the Free' only if you have money or as long as you dont try to interrupt the money machine , even when they are killing the planet with there dirty toxic oil that sickens and kills humans every day , as well as all other life forms on the planet they still dont seem to get it , we will need some powerful intervention if this planet hopes to survive . God help us .

  • @Topazman12 Pantone is a window licking loony You obvious believe that Pantone is a fraud because if you didn't you would have built a working geet. Yeah right. Bwahahaha

  • @Topazman12 Pantone? Bloody hell now you've got capt crazy aka mikehano wittering on. Pantone is out as of 2009 still making the same insane loony claims You say the designs are available for free (I note you of course haven't built one) Three posts up and Capt Crazy is saying they design is "shock horror" suppressed. Could you conspiracy tin foil hat wearers at least try to get your fantasies straight

  • Terry Miller invented the Air Car in 1979 in the USA. So what happened?

  • @Topazman12

Miller? His air car dribbled round parking lots impressing idiots. In the 1990's he raised funds for the Spirit of Jobplin car which once again dribbled round parking lots impressing idiots

  • Good bye Saudi! I can't wait to watch their kingdom Crumble.

  • @TheMinwanabi You think that a car that has an ACTUAL range of five miles, takes 6 hours to refill and is five times less efficient than an electric vehicle has the Oil producing states worried?

Would you like to by a bridge?

  • @fizzguts So, you're saying this car only has a range of five Miles? Where do you get this information from? According to everything I've found on researching this car, it has a range of 200 KLM and a top speed of 120 KLM per hour. If everything they say is true, it's a good idea.

And, yes, watching that dirt hole kindgom go back to its stone age origins would be a Karmic work of art

  • @TheMinwanabi There are NO independent tests confirming the speed and range lies opps claims from MDI

Even the former USA distributor admitted a "theoretical" range of 20 miles

    Google Vencat 20 miles

Scroll down and you'll see the report and an analysis of the numbers

The Berkeley report shreds the MDi lies opps claims

    Google Air Car Berkeley

The five mile (7.2km) range was published on MDI's own website and then removed.

Google rexresearch negre for more broken promises

  • ___why not to integrate a solar powered air mini compressor in the car, or air recycling switching the flux from one tank to another? or capturing air when running?

__there most to be something better than this to make it more efficient, than sopping to refill air, or replace tanks, i believe...

  • Bravo. Let's hope the idea really takes off

  • In 1934, 21-year-old Johannes Wardenier announced he developed the world’s first fuel-less automobile. For weeks Dutch newspapers reported of an incredible invention that would change the world for ever. Not long after that he was mysteriously imprisoned in a mental institution, his design for the engine was stolen and he was kept under constant guard and never allowed to see anyone.

  • The European Three-Stage Air Locomotive, 1912-1930

Hodges' patents were improved upon by European engineers who increased the number of expansion stages to three and used interheaters before all three stages. The coal mines of France and Germany and other countries such as Belgium were swarming with these locomotives, which increased their range-between-fill-ups 60% by the addition of ambient heat. .

  • @mikehanoo33 "which increased their range-between-fill-ups 60%" Whee five kms became 8kms

Air locos were a poor and distant cousin to Fireless locos. Air powered locos had VERY limited applications in mining

  • It might have become obvious to the powers-that-be that these upstarts were a threat to the petroleum takeover that was well under way in the transportation industry; after world war two the term "air engine" was never used in compressed air textbooks and air powered locomotives, if used at all, were usually equipped with standard, inefficient air motors.

  • The term "air engine" disappeared from engineering textbooks after the 1930s and the second world war. Gas engines had been perfected, the oil industry was established, and gas was cheap.

  • No of course the oil companies would never suppress compressed air car technology that has been working since 1896 ! This is not new technology and it would appear this engine had plenty of range , why did the MDI project get attacked by so many media sources and now by many armchair scientists , that believe the propaganda .

  • @mikehanoo33 Well actually MDI has been taking investor money and promising to release the air car on the open market since beginning of the decade, and it still hasn't managed to fulfil its promise. Why becuase the technology doesn't work as they promise and if it did 'air cars' would be out there right now on the streets. So people actually do know what the truth is, which is the MDI air car is a fraud. Perhaps you should contact MDI and advise them of Mr Hodges interheater invention.

  • @Voxson1 For half a century the air-powered locomotive was a serious contender for the top spot in transportation because of its obvious advantages: simplicity, safety, economy, and cleanliness. Air engines were commercially available and used routinely, first as metropolitan street transit and later for haulage in mines . Just a fraud eh does not work , or maybe we all just got stupid !

  • @mikehanoo33"For half a century the air-powered locomotive was a serious contender for the top spot in transportation"

Horse shit. The air engine had a BRIEF flowering in the 1900's and apart from underground mining it died as its' range was pathetic and it's efficiency was and still is horrible. In MDI's ONLY published TEST this piece of crap went 5 miles. Which is about what the calculations say it should. Google the museum of retrotech

  • @fizzguts Conventional air cars, such as the pneumatic locomotives that were available commercially from 1890 to 1930, stop at air stations to refuel. These cars can be designed to go 5 to 500 miles between fillups, depending on the efficiency of the system, the size and pressure of the tanks, and the ingenuity of the designer.

  • @mikehanoo33 "pneumatic locomotives that were available commercially from 1890 to 1930, stop at air stations to refuel" and were only used in mines where their none flammable working and easy access to compressed air compensated for their hideously short range . As soon as half way decent battery electric locos were available they disappeared. Air cars never ran on the roads as I.C. aced them. Only loony tunes and con artists tried selling "air cars"

  • @mikehanoo33 "These cars can be designed to go 5 to 500 miles between fillups"

FIVE HUNDRED MILES!! yeah right Towing ten40 ft shipping containers full of dive tanks behind your car might be a tad impractical. LOL

  • @mikehanoo33 MDI clearly have not heard of Mr Hodges and perhaps if they integrated his invention into their air car the thing would be able to meet the grandiose promises that they have been making about it and its supposed 200 mile range. If it’s been around since the 1890s then they could use it freely as the patent has expired. They then could release the car to be sold on the open market and people would buy it in droves and it would cease to be the referred to as a 'scam'.

  • @Voxson1 Oh I am sure they have heard of him and all the other's that have developed this technology many years ago , people that add new ideas and inventions to already existing technology always do there research into what has been done and what works and what does not , let me guess the trains Mr. Hodges invented with air power were replaced with a petroleum fueled trains .

  • The H. K. Porter Compound Air Locomotives, 1896-1930

Inventor Charles B. Hodges became the first and only air car inventor in history to see his invention become a lasting commercial success. His engine was two-stage and employed an interheater between the two piston stages to warm the partially expanded compressed air with the surrounding atmosphere. A substantial gain in range-between-fill-ups was thus proven attainable with no cost for the extra fuel, which was provided by the sun

  • The french government owns the oil company of France and the Renault factory making the air car , no conflict of interest there .

  • As far as the air car is concerned , from my research it feels like the idea was over hyped and people made untrue statements about the range , this does not discount all the other viable working alternative energy systems such as bio fuels and electric , which are much cleaner then petroleum products , its time to end the dirty toxic oil game !

  • After all these years, are they saying that Japan is building this car while North America does nothing but offer bail outs?

  • Even if the air car is only used on a limited basis in town it could still be a part of the solution . anything but petroleum products !

  • The BIG companies do not want us to use air they want us to use oil or electricity. I want one of these cars I gave up my car years ago inorder to be more "green" I use public transport. The planet NEEDS this car!

  • @OCHILALUNA

In the ONLY published test it went FIVE miles. End of story. The 100km range is a BULLSHIT claim by MDI.

But hey find an independent test confirming MDI's lies opps claims and I'll sing their praises.

    Hello?

    Silence?

    Sigh tards and fwits

  • A pitty, it only can drive 100 km on 1 tank. If this could be improved, this car is THE perfect car to replace oil. I love it.

Google douglas self the museum of retro tech

Air powered vehicles from the 1900's much better than this piece of crap but still very short range

Google vencat 20 miles Ex USA distributor provides figures that show this POC is 5 times LESS efficient than an electric vehicle

Google rexresearch negre for MDI lies for 15 years

By the way you technically illiterate moron I've build steam power plants race & road cars. You have only pulled your dick

  • You know the oil companies are having a shit fit over these......... gonna be putting there hit men to work.

  • @mrsmelzbad Don't be a putz this is a short range old technology CON and has been for years. But hey they want you money so invest like all the other technically illiterate chumps

  • Are these cars in production for sale now.

  • @Rajpoot45 No

  • A car that runs on Metabolism.

  • Compressing the Air takes a large amount of electricity and that electricity comes from Coal fired plants, Oil-using power generating stations and Nuclear (waste) plants. So pollution is created and natural resources are definitely used up.

  • @halcyon0830 And what about the electricty created by solar energy, i mean, i agree with you, but we can change the way to get that electricity, dont you think?
