  • 02:05 -- I don't remember a whole lot about this game, but I DO remember this -- er, scenelet. I cracked up. The little musical notes that annunciate it are just priceless. Thanks so much for making a playthrough of this game. I just searched it on YouTube on a whim. I watched my dad play this (sans nudity parts ;) ), and we had such a good time figuring out all the puzzles. Thanks for bringing back a little bit of my childhood and making my day! :)

  • The graphics in this game give me a head ache.

    Funny game though. Cool playthrough.

  • DANG !

  • Thanks for the flashback! God it was fun working on this...

  • Oh wow, are you the ''Produced and Designed by'' guy? :-O

  • Yeah, that was a different lifetime though! I was pretty surprised to see a full play-through here. I was over at a friends house the other day (Paul Lahaise from the Rex team) and we watched your YouTube Rex videos on his living room big screen via TiVo -- great flashbacks. Thanks for taking the time!

  • Wow great! :D

I seemed quite mean in this vids description comments now that i read back! lol I liked this game more than just a bit. I've played it quite a few times now - noticing extra bits and bobs. Re my sound comments, I use headphones instead of speakers and any sirens, ringing or buzzing type noises/notes seemed louder than normal! I liked the hut music and the exploring of the city music most i think. Those get stuck in my head.

I almost recorded it all in one long piece but

  • ...i messed up right at the very end so it was recorded in one long part and then a tiny part added on. I put it on dvd as one long file also so i could watch on tv also haha :D

I think i saw you both worked on Dragonsphere too? Loved that game as well - planned to do a video of that but i'm not sure if it has already been done by now?

I'm working on a team remaking an old computer game (King's Quest 4). It's all volunteer though so progress is quite slow due to life, and especially since we

  • ...don't have that many people involved. It's nice to hear from someone else who worked on a game, and one like this! Thanks for the comments!

  • @mgruson That game rocks! I used to play it on my pentium-1 as a kid... Now Dosbox brought it back to me

  • @mgruson I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for giving me some of my most precious childhood PC moments - I loved this game as a kid - it has been a prominent and dear memory of mine for about 20 years now. Thank you!

  • for anyone who got stuck on this game, me and uncle played this game when i was a kid and it turns out that there was a patch needed just to beat the game. so don't feel too bad

  • This is terrific I remember I got stuck on this game back in the days before internet. I really appreciate that you also posted some selected death scenes.

  • This almost brings tears to my eyes, lol.

    These games shaped my childhood.

(Come to think of it, that explains a lot)

  • haha!

  • Wow! Now I know you can find everything on youtube cuz this game is old, not only that, I dont even think it was that popular. This game was pretty humorous and entertaing for its time. I remeber I got pretty far on it. Wish I could find a spot that has this game cuz I'd buy it and try to beat it ha, thnx for the post, brought back memories.

  • You can download it from Abandonia dot com now i think, if you search "rex nebular"
