  • That's what they've should have done on the seires.

  • The Excelsior Class has been refit for the 3rd time by Next Gen standards they only used the even older style than this varient in the Programme because of Budget Restrictions! Besides if this is supposed to be based on Personal Imagination I would have used a Rigel Class or Korolev Class! In my Universe in my head (Lol) the New Orleans doesn't have the silly struts but is a good contender for the Ambassador replacement programme! Ships without Deflector Dishes don't exist either!

  • Pretty good, but looks a lot like Voyager's opening.

  • Wow, two thumbs up man...but no love for Wil Wheaton?

  • It looks considerably worst than the real one.

  • I loved it =D

  • I notice you missed Will Wheaton off the credits.

    Well done!

  • ^^ is that a smiley in the centre of the deflector dish? :D I like it!!

  • I'd say this is pretty damn sweet, except (there's always an except or it's not an opinion!) like someone else said, the yellowish pod hatches are too prominent and the jumps need a little speed. Someone's lazily going into warp, methinks. Other than that, love the shading, the darkness of it all (space, dark, duh). Very cool, all around.

  • Did you model the ship yourselve? If so, well done!

  • Did you model the ship yourselve or is that a downloaded mesh?

  • nice work

  • That was actually pretty good =)

  • That was amazing!

  • FANTASTIC!!!! I SWEAR THE FANS DO A SUPERIOR JOB TO ANY WORK DONE ON THE SHOW OR MOVIES! ENGAGE~ ~ ~ ~ ~

  • Well Done!

    The Enterprise never looked better!

  • can u send me a copy of this with no names and only says 'star trek' i would love this for my star trek series

i will credit u!!!!!.. i will pm u my email address please make it wmv

  • Very nice.

  • THAT WAS AWESOME!! DO IT AGAIN!!

  • It would be nice if you added more scenes of Ent-D at cruise warp speeds.

  • I love the last part when the enterprise goes into warp... with the only light coming from the enterprise :-)

  • And alittle reminescent of VGR opening

  • This is great, did you do something with the music as well?

  • i have found a better enterprise & excelsior model for you at Foundation 3d. Type Foundation 3d into google and sign up. An admin will activate your account. Honestly a MUCH better model. My only recommendation for using it is, select the hull, and however your 3d modelling program does it, make the hull of the Foundation 3d model less shiny, honestly, as you get it its like a frakin mirror.

  • OK. Very good presentation. However one flaw on your Enterprise D. The yellow part of the warp engine between the blue grills and the bussard collecters is a bit too small. It should be enlarged.

  • Where did you get the recording of the theme? It is different in parts than any I have heard before.

  • the first jump needs to be a bit faster....but otherwise kewl

  • cool :-)

  • Not bad. Add some motion blurring, a higher resolution, and a higher frame rate, and it will be excellent.

  • very well done and i like how dark you have it in places. awesome job!

  • Looks a little bit like the 'a final unity' game theme

  • lol, well it was done on a computer :p

  • Wow you got the angles and camera movements perfect! But tone down on the escape pod tone :P also need to get some global lighting in there. But amazing work :)

  • Thank you for your comment. The whole sequence was done on a lower render engine, check out Enterprise - D drydock 2.0 and see if it looks any better.

  • Why does it have all those yellow marks? Is it the ISS Enterprise from the mirror universe?

  • Yellow marks?

  • Yes, the ones you see on the underside of the saucer section from 0:35 to 0:47.

  • @DevilMaster

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think they are Transporter arrays.

  • 1:10

"Captain's log, supplemental. Mr. Data informs me that we are passing through a field of delicious space pot-stickers."

  • You sure that's the Enterprise-D's log? 'Cause that sounds more like something Shatner would say.

  • its better than the original one hahaha

  • I hope you don't take this the wrong way - the basics are there and look solid, but your light setup could use a serious overhaul - that part is rather bland. Also you might want to look into higher resolution textures for the planets (and generally increase the contrast in the image) :)

Just some pointers that might help out :)

  • Well I rendered it on low res, if I do a new one, it's going to be the same render as the other movies I did, should look better.

  • Looking forward to that :)

  • 5 stars. Nice!

  • Sweet, thank you, high 5 :)

  • Awesome! As has been said, make the ship stretch and contort rapidly for the warp jump and you've nailed it

  • Thank you :D

  • It was excellent! The only thing I would advise you on is the actual jump to warp. You've got to make the ship stretch during the actual jump for it to look 'right'.

    Other than that... \m/

  • \m/ glad you liked it, I'm not a big fan of the stretch effect, but maybe if I do another one, TNG DS9 or Voyager, I might include the stretch effect for the warp out

  • i hope they wil do this one day when the decide to remaster TNG on blu ray

  • It would be cool if they did something like this.

  • my god...if i ever get my fanfic going..i want you to do a opening credits for me..this is awesome stuff man!

  • Thank you :D and I'll think about it, sounds interesting :)

  • WOW FIVE STARS :D

  • :D You are the first to say wow :D, thank you, and I'm glad you liked it :D

  • This is an excellent intro to Star Trek: TNG. Thanks so much for uploading this terrific work!! I love it!!

  • Thank you very much for the comment :D

  • i wish do this like they did on TOS for HD and put on Blu-Ray too

  • You're right! Id like to see that myself. I wish theyd do a remastered version of TNG like they did with TOS.

  • Greag job.

  • Thank you dude.

  • Great attempt man. It feels Voyagerish. I like the end spin that the Enterprise does. I also like the warp effect, much more realistic than the "rubber band effect" they always used in the series.

  • I agree with you on all those points, and about voyagerish its true. I was inspired by it. (and I dont like the rubber band effect either)

  • Fantastic ;)

  • Thanks friend

  • VERY nice! I think this should have been used as the original intro.

  • I kind of think the same myself, thanx! ;-)

  • Incredible work!

  • Appreciated!

  • Pretty Impressive!

  • Thanks very much =)

  • The jerking has nothing to do with my end, its freakin YouTube re-compression.

    -Sorry :-(
