Also, I know it's Disney, and when I was little, I didn't mind the little mistakes (or "tweaks") to the mythology but Artemis wouldn't have been so kind. She transformed Aktaion into a stag for seeing her bathing on accident, who got torn apart by his dogs because she prides herself in chastity. And I just saw that Aphrodite is some type of feminist and it seemed OOC. It's so weird. Still love the show as a reminder of childhood, but weird. XD

Personally, I think that this is a really bad interpretation of Artemis. She is the goddess of hunt, that much is true, but she is also the goddess of youth, maidens, and the moon. All they told us was that she is the goddess of hunt, which is actually one of her more minor rolls as a goddess. Artemis shall forever be a maiden. And that voice sounded NOTHING like a maiden.

I don't get what everyone is so choked up about. So what this version of Artemis is different from the true Artemis. Remember, this is a kid's show not rated PG-14. I like this Artemis, it portrays her as a southern-greek tomboy nature girl who happens to be a goddess. And Hercules IS the son of the most powerful God of all Greece so if any God steps on Hercules' toes, they have to answer to Zues and Hercules.

I don't know what is up with the negitive comments. It is a Disney show for young children, and Greek Myths can be R rated at times; which is why they toned it down to be rated G. Also, this show is suppose to be comical a bit. @Zerosaver Poseidon DID have children...human children...just they're not as famous as Zeus' children ;P Rick does teach basic mythology, just with an added flare to make them interesting for younger children, the age that is aimed to be attracted by the book. Rick aimed to teach children basic myths so they'll become interested in them because to be honest, myths are being lost because of tech ;P so we need a fun way to remember them ;3 that's my opinion XD
