Just because the Japanese have traditionally eaten whale meat for centuries doesn't mean it should continue. I am Australian, a westerner, big deal. If whale populations & reproductive cycles were different,I may feel differently.

The second vessel was the Arctic Sunrise of Greenpeace. However international law dictates that the Nissan Maru must stand down and give way to the Arctic Sunrise, and the Sunrise can maintain there course and speed. As doing so they collided.What the arctic did was completely legal. The Nissan Maru seemed to speed up as to block the Arctic.
