Vater has made a few updates on the shafts in this period of time. Since this vid was shot 2 years ago that could be why you notice a little different coloration. Very good because we don’t see very often girl on drum, specially that good, but if it was a guy…. Nobody would say it is awesome. At my point of view, this kind of drumming is way over excessive. Too much energy, not enough efficient.

Great stuff! I told all my drumset students to check out this video! I know you don't like to see drumming as gender biased, but it can be tough for female drummers to break stereotypes. It is really great to see someone as talented as yourself break through past that stereotype and become a role model for the younger generation of drummers, both male and female. P.S. Yes, Hannah had a very good improvement on drumming. Cool kit and cool licks. The pin-up girl at the bass drum front head is very nice ! Hannah, keep on working !
Well, I try to answer all my emails, fan mail letters and comments....sometimes it takes me a couple of days to get to them but I try and cover them all. Thanks for noticing.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Just out of curiosity I went back and had a quick look at the 140 comments. Only 2 or 3 including yours made any mention about gender. Personally I NEVER want anyone to look at me with regards to my playing as a female. I believe if a "male" had done this it would still have gotten good reviews. Frank and Barry are incredible musicians and the video was well done too. I certainly don't feel handicapped.

Women can pull their own chairs out, open there own doors, women drummers are treated like novelties. and well, they can be better than men if we raise there standards to the same level(take away their handicap). but as their a novelty why get better?

Wowsers! So fluid with your groove, Rhythm comes from within and this video is a great hommage to all the great female drummers of modern times. Kudos to this piece and to your natural feel for the song, Great vid!

Great stuff! I told all my drumset students to check out this video! I know you don't like to see drumming as gender biased, but it can be tough for female drummers to break stereotypes. It is really great to see someone as talented as yourself break through past that stereotype and become a role model for the younger generation of drummers, both male and female. P.S. You now have a bunch of adoring fans in northeast Pa. Keep th great work coming!

Rosey the Riveter on the bass drum: cool. Cool tune, nice drumming. Definitely has kind of a progressive rock feel to it, very well rehearsed. Hannah, I like that you know exactly when to stay in the pocket and when to throw in accents and fills. This is the first vid of you I've seen, and I'll be looking for more.

well that girl can really drum thats for sure. The rest isn't my type. She has real potential to be good.
but I gotta say the video itself is very ...cheap. bad quality and all. If you could work on that it'd be really worth it.

Yes, Hannah had a very good improvement on drumming. Cool kit and cool licks. The pin-up girl at the bass drum front head is very nice ! Hannah, keep on working !

I am sorry if this will offend anyone.
But why is it, that if a male had played this it would be seen as average.. But now because it is a female everyone appears to be stunned.. I mean, its not bad at all, but yeah.. Have I missed something during Biology.. Do woman have some sort of handicap?... No so.. Don't act like it is the moral ...Still good vid!

Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Just out of curiosity I went back and had a quick look at the 140 comments. Only 2 or 3 including yours made any mention about gender. Personally I NEVER want anyone to look at me with regards to my playing as a female. I believe if a "male" had done this it would still have gotten good reviews. Frank and Barry are incredible musicians and the video was well done too. I certainly don't feel handicapped.

SHE IS AVERAGE , i could do better , but because she is female she is naturally considered by our society to be handicapped, just look at her bass head. the stylistic choices are very basic and the fills stiff, women should be respected enough to treated at the same level as men, just this week Steven Colbert interviewed a women talking about how women are better than men. so Colbert's first joke was to pull her chair out for her and offered her a pellow and a glass of water,

Women can pull their own chairs out, open there own doors, women drummers are treated like novelties. and well, they can be better than men if we raise there standards to the same level(take away their handicap). but as their a novelty why get better?
