The parallels I could draw... I was dropping a bit of weight by limiting my intake, fully aware that it would probably affect serotonin levels and wreck my mood. I figured I could overpower it since I knew what the cause was, but ha, not really. I pretty much turned into a walking pile of hate and self-loathing for a few months.
