@3624nathan While it's turned on, definitely yes. Plugged in has never caused any problems for me in the 20-odd years I've been building/modifying them!
@happykfc That's what I did. He said it was because it was high density RAM. I returned it for a refund and bought some Kingston RAM second-hand on Ebay instead. It worked great.
@SANGERA2 Exactly what i did, i got it replaced, just waiting for delivery now. But i also bought some second hand kingston ram off ebay lol. Glad it worked for you :) hopefully it will work for me too.
IT IS NOT GOOD TO REPLACE RAM WHEN THE COMPUTER IS RUNNING OR IF IT IS PLUGGED IN OR YOU WILL GET LOTS OF PROBLEMS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!
