Mostly with Pat O'Brien whenever I get over to New York (even during an airplane layover!). About 4 times a year I manage to have a lesson with Bob Barto, either at Lute Society or in Switzerland.

I listen to alot of death tech-metal, post-rock & experimental music & although i get tremendeous pleasure & emotion from it nothing moves me more than this. Its so pure. I love couperin, bach, purcell etc but this is so powerful. Amazing & heartfelt performance.

This is beautiful music! What a wondrous form the Baroque chaconne is. So hypnotic. Your playing is delightfully natural and unaffected. It is so refreshing to see someone who plays the music for the love of it and doesn't include self-conscious histrionics as part of the performance. I would love to be able to play the lute as well as you. Well done and thanks for adding a little beauty to this increasingly ugly world of ours.
