How to enable a numeric battery on ipod touch/iphone 2.0+

Alright so I've got bossprefs and enabled numeric battery but it didn't do anything, it still just shows the battery

Hey, can you help me I got it ect... but it's messed up for example it will say 29%.. Charge it for 10 mins now says 87% and goes from 60% to 85% its just all messed up why? I resprung and so on. Please pm me any info. I have an ipod touch 3g 32gb. Thanks.
