@fartface716 You don't die at the end of HL2, Gman comes in and unfreezes you and takes you back to his uh.. area of buisness. he then puts you in stasis until you are called upon again BUT *SPOILER ALERT* the vortiguaunt people rescuse you and alex and take you away from the citadel so you don't die.

Episode three is the last one in the series of HL2, and quite possibly the end of the Combine. Valve have stated that it will not be end of Gordon Freemans adventures, and not necesarily the end of Alyx's.

I've heard that the Silent Hill movie was awful. It all depends on your personal taste, I guess.

As for games going to movie, they always use writers and directors that don't know what they're doing. A Half-Life movie couldn't work in this case because:

1. Gordon Freeman never talks in the game. Though if they make it follow a different character...

2. The advanced weapons look a bit too game-like to work.

3. Too many movies based on games end up having too many in-game jokes.
