  • i have the kel-tec p11 (9mm version) and my slide release has snapped 3 times and no i havent been releasing the slide when the gun was dry

    .. POS

  • Here in south Florida, we usually wear just shorts and a T-shirt, so a pocket gun is the only way to go if you're going to carry.

    Love my Ruger LCP!

  • Many of you are advocating 9mm and larger of preferred calibre. This YouTube video refers to POCKET pistols. I have a Kel-Tec P11 9mm. When I've attempted to carry the Kel-Tec in my pocket, my pocket was weighed down, my leg felt uncomfortable, the pants sagged on that side, and the gun's bulge was apparent. To retrieve it from the pocket was cumbersome. After considerable research, I'm now very comfortably carrying and being confident with, 24/7, my Ruger LCP - a true POCKET pistol. Love it!

  • NO way Browning 1910 380 owns em

  • Kel-tec is my choice

  • In my opinion, I don't think it's a great idea to go smaller than 9x19. .380 is very close, and probably perfectly adequate *most* of the time, but I just perceive there to be that small chance that it becomes a liability when you need it most. Therefore, I'd go with the Kel-Tec P11 over all of these. It's only marginally bigger, chambers a round that most people will never argue with, and holds more of them to boot.

  • @MeanEyedCats

There is a very big weight difference between a P11 with one in the chamber and a full mag, compared to any single stack .380. Put the P11 in your pocket and not only will everyone know it's there, but you'll soon need new pockets. Ask me how I know, firsthand...

  • @usernamemykel Thanks for letting me know. That's not something I'd heard before. Although to be honest, I don't think I'd be comfortable pocket carrying. I usually carry a kubotan in one pocket and a few other things in the other, so I'd have to make a lot of compromises to pocket carry, plus I have a habit of putting a hand into my pocket when I'm talking to people, which would be very inappropriate if I'm packing.

Have you carried the P11 in a holster as well?

  • @MeanEyedCats

Yes, I carried a P11 in a holster. It's fine in a holster. P11 comes roughly finished from the factory, need to do a "fluff n' buff" (Goldenloki forum) to make it a very good firearm.

Even witrh only 7 rounds in it, to compare weight tand bulk o Ruger LCP, it is still too heavy and bulky for pocket carry.

BTW - how far can a Kubotan shoot??? ; )

I've had the Ruger Elsie Pea for awhile now, and I really like everything about it. (Especially at the LEO price).

  • @usernamemykel Kubotan doesn't shoot very far, unfortunately. ;) Best I can do though, living in Canada at the moment. One can carry knives as well, but you're not guaranteed to get away with it if you're arrested.

  • I think the Bersa .380 would be a great gun to review along with these...

  • @jodopeg what makes you an expert in firearms?

  • .380 is for chumps....9MM in a 147 gr is the best.

  • @jodopeg 9mm is for punk bitch and wanna be gang bangers!!!! i own a .40 s&w and a 12 gauge short barrell pistol grip mossberg maverick 88.....500 MAGNUM IS THE BEST GUN EVER!!!

  • @johnm8h ....40 cal is a great gun, but I thunk the US marines, US Army ,most law enforcement agencies as well as half the world's military organizations going back many years would disagree with you on the 9mm.

124 and 147 grain is best.

  • @jodopeg The US military went to a 9mm because of the increased number of small framed shooters (PC code words for women) entering the service in the late 70's early 80's, and wanted a more controllable platform. The logic should be, Chose the largest round you can accurately fire, AND WILL ACTUALLY CARRY, and don't be a dick to someone with a smaller round, They probably practice more, carry every day, and can shoot better than a YouTube commando.

  • @AdUtrumquePeratus76 ,,,,smaller is apparently better for military application,,,,7.62 gave way to 5,56 in the US and 5.45 in the Russian forces.

The only military upgrade to a bigger round has been the 50 cal sniper rifle, but is not widely used, being limited to special ops.

In law enforcement, most cops can choose between 9mm, 45 , 357/40, 40 cal/10mm,,,so bullets are like shoes,,, find what your comfortable with and enjoy.

  • @jodopeg Nice, the military did a study before the adoption of the M16 and found most troops simply don't engage targets outside of about 250m with iron sights. & 5.56 is great w/in 250m. Good marksmanship w/ a 22mag has killed many a larger critter, but some ignorant folks scoff at hunting North American game w/ anything smaller than a 300 mag. I know Inuit in Alaska that routinely use .243 (their BIG gun) to take polar bear. I guess ballistics trumps skill on the internet.

  • @AdUtrumquePeratus76 I have a Savage 22mag, it's awesome. I have killed the shit out of nutra-rats with it and picked off a dragon fly at 75 yards with a 9X scope.

And yeah, the average shot in combat is about 70 yards, firing a volley of smaller ammo at an enemy is usually more effective than firing limited amounts of a large caliber. Unless your sniping.

  • @jodopeg I have a S&W M&P15 M4 chambered in 5.45x 39. It's considerably cheaper to shoot and practice with than my 5.56's. I consider it my .22 super mag. I shoot it more than my other AR's and it’s just about equivalent to the 5.56 in my opinion. In my experience, the mil-surp HP’s are nasty little rounds on everything from squirrels to coyotes. Ok, it's overkill on a squirrel. It’s a bit dirty, but it's accurate, and effective.

  • @AdUtrumquePeratus76 ,,I was checking out your channel, I like the Through Godless Eyes presentation.

If you look at my video list you'll see me shooting my favorite BushMaster M4, and "Rifle Range with Rob" is funny, where I goof on my insecure friend, and previous girlfriends. And a cheap Mag well fix for the WASR10/63......

  • @jodopeg Glad you enjoyed it. What's up w/ the crazy fat bitch? I'd like to pick up an AK 74 variant, but most of what I find seems to be junk. I know AK's have loose tolerances and typical Russian chunkiness, but damn. I've looked at the arsenal guns, but for that much scratch I’d rather pop $1,400 on a LaRue Tactical PredatAR. Do you have any suggestions? 3 more months to the Tulsa gun show, time to get the wish list together.

  • @AdUtrumquePeratus76,,,, save your money on the ultra pricy AKs,,,there not much better than the standard Arsenal import, the SG-20, if you can find one is a great AK, I have a WASR-10/63 and an SG20 Arsenal of Las Vegas import. It's 2x scope on the Romanian piece of junk, and 3-9X scope on the SG20.

My fav is my AR BushMaster, M-4 though.

The fat bitch is just something Rob sent me, did you see Rob at the Rifle Range,,,he's f-ing pathetic...LOL

  • @johnm8h Damn, you have excellent taste! I have the exact same guns...lolol NICE!

  • those come in chuck norris cereal box

  • why di you not include the Sig P238?

  • Get a Kel-Tec PF-9 or a Kahr PM-9 make sure you have a good pair of Tac boots with a anckle holster. Polish the feed ramp. And take it to the range or, there are some new S&W CCW toys out here now. I like the little 38 revolver. Might just get one.

  • yeah everyone is buying the LCP'S like crazy over here in texas I carry the SR9 alot more heavy but i dont mind my life is worth the extra weight

  • i like the ruger lcp .380

  • What about the S & W P 340 CT .357 Magnum!

  • can you shoot some?

  • oh soo cute: )

  • Leightwight pro :')

  • Lol just get a snub nose revolver.

  • I agree with susquehanna303 -- 11.4 oz is closer to half a pound than to a pound. Regardless, this is a great video; much better than reading gun specs. For concealed carry, weight is a major concern. Thanks GunWebsites.

  • @arckangel2087

I wear cheap boots, the other guys wear mostly Oakley boots (I think) but I know they are looking for 'better' ones that last longer.. we should be doing more boot vids in the near future, stay tuned

  • Gunwebsitespeople. What's your thoughts on the Sig P232

  • how much is sterling arms .380?? i know that gun is out of bussines and is a cheap gun.

    is that a well-made gun??

    sorry my english.

  • I'm surprised not to see a Raven .25 up there. Sure it's old and has a small caliber, but it's very small and light.

  • @pyscobrand

why would you ever expect a .25 to be in a comparison of .380s ?

  • @GunWebsites Did the video say .380? dont be an ass man.

  • @pyscobrand I have a Raven .25 and have found it to be reasonably accurate but it misfires too often to be a reliable backup. The .380's here are so much better and not "too" much bigger. I will opt for RELIABLE. I have witnessed too many Raven .25 failures to fire as well as I have friends that have big accuracy issues that are not related to handling.

  • @pyscobrand - I have a Raven .25 and I have a Ruger LCP. I would never classify the two guns as even close except in size of the gun itself. I don't know about yours but my Raven (is well tuned & fitted) jams/or misfires pretty often (once in about 35 firings) with GOOD ammo and even more with cheap ammo. The Raven is cute and I love it for it's size but would not consider it for CC unless it was all I had or if it was the only thing I could fit on me. That does not happen.

  • @pyscobrand "Four popular .380ACP pocket pistols". Perhaps you should look for Four popular .25ACP pocket pistols. Or none at all, if you ever thought the Raven was a good buy.

  • Taurus TCP FTW!!!!

  • its like your weighing little babies

  • do u kno wer i kan buy 1 f des frm???

  • @MURDAMANTIP with grammar like that you dont need a gun.

  • @LedZeppelin13k7 NO disrespect sir. bt im from chicago thatz why my grammer is like that nd im 14yrs old living at home wit my 76 yr old grandma someone already broke whille ma gme was sleep and scared her into aheart attack and im the only she have and i need protection for that wont happen again i've had experience of shooting a gun before my dad past away he tought me have to hold, aim, put on safety and shoot and thatz why im looking to buy one.!

  • ruger LCP is cRAP... trust me... lots of problems.... not well manufactured.

  • @r1cc4rd000

    What evidence is there ?

  • @GunWebsites they recalled them last year for one...no problems since though. Google it.

  • @r1cc4rd000 mine works fine,300+ rounds not one FTF.........

Kahr is nice but over priced IMO and I dont need sights on a pocket gun,id really like to try out the NAA......Its the best looking of the bunch

  • @r1cc4rd000 do you own one, or are you just splurting what others tell you? Yes, back in 2008 when it first came out there was one small problem with the feed port. Many handguns have first run issues, but they fixed it. I've had an LCP for a year now and and I know of ZERO manufacturing problems with the firearm. Name one? If you have a problem with it, it's a personal refference issue and not a manufacturing issue.

  • @r1cc4rd000 I have owned a LCP for a while now, and I have shot probably about 1000 rounds through it with no problems. Rugers have a reputation for being over built so I'm not sure of your reason for saying it is crap. Possible user error maybe?

  • @r1cc4rd000 My LCP has given me nothing but problems...feeding especially.

  • @r1cc4rd000 And we would believe this because you told us so?

  • @dismunk 4 pounds is 64 ounces.

  • P3AT for the win

  • Those look great for concealed carry and back-up for Law-Enforcement.

Polymer weighs less, and as with the F88 Austeyr, doesn't freeze up in cold conditions.

  • I bought a kel-tec p3at several months ago. I took it to the range and as soon as i fired the second shot, the frame craked, and spring and pin hit me in the face. People tell me to send it back which i will, but come on i will never again trust my life to a kel tec sorry.

  • @camoaz Personally, i dont believe you. Because had this actually happenned and you reported this incident, it would have been immediately recalled. Dont be a hata

  • @elitesack I really dont care if you didnt believe me, the p3at i bought is a piece of shit, and and if you read my comment right i will send it as soon as i get a chance. But either way kel tec sucks ass, and i know other shooters who frequently shoot here at Shooters World in Phx Az who have had the same problem. But hey its just my particular fire arm, right....

  • @camoaz I believe you. I own a new Kel-tec P3AT and it only fires half of the time. I have tried different brands of ammo with the same results. I have let others at the range try it and it fails to fire for them too. I have cleaned it a few times thinking that would help, but no luck. Bad firing pin or spring maybe? I will be sending mine back to them. Small cracks started in the plastic grip after the first time shooting it. I like my little gun but I wish it was not a piece of shit.

  • @paintballerco12

there are other channels for you.. go away

  • @GunWebsites watch out he might shoot you with his paintball gun!

  • @paintballerco12 hey look little paintball fag came out of the closet

  • i know this will sound retarded but do they shoot real bullets?

  • @SUBEASTUDIOS

    Yes these are real pistols

  • the kahr & ruger r prolly the better gubs but dont count out the kel-tec i carried a kel-tec p11 fpr years & lo9ved it & if money is an issue then kel-tec is def the way to go ..although the ruger is sexy

  • @arkangel8419 deffinetley keltec is highly underrated. I have a PF9 from kelltec its basically a lighter version of the P11 hell maybe the same exact thing. reliable accurate and i would bet my life on it.

  • PF9 has a half cocked trigger like the p32 and p3at

    the p11 is true DAO

    pf9 =12.7oz p11 =14oz

    7rd -12rd post ban

    width .88in - 1.00in

  • Seandutrow,

It's a good idea to put at least 200 rounds through any firearm before you depend on it to protect your life. Any mechanical device needs to be broken in properly before use, a pistol is no different.

  • @TattooedHoodlum If you have all that money for bullets why not move to a safer neighborhood, how much can a bus ticket cost?

  • @nilbud

I hope that is a joke, Congresswoman Pelosi.

  • @bogombo Try something written in english next time.

  • @nilbud Because not every grown man lives with his parents in their basement in a safe suburb. Dealing with reality requires intellect when you seek to deal with it properly and safely.

  • You got a great deal on that Colt, I see those selling for $700+ in used condition.

  • sig sauer p238

  • bersa cc 380

  • PT738, done.

  • #1 it safer

#2 there are lots of different ammo types, if we weighed it with different ammo than you use it would be about as useful as an empty weight

#3 Mag capacity differs with where you live, so do we load 10 or more??

  • I was looking a a really neat Taurus .380 today. It's pretty new, but I forgot what it was called. Do you know?

  • @GunWebsites yeah about #3 i live in PA so we dont have the 10 cap. ban here but for states that do if u go in a buy a glock19or 17 or any glock really but lets just say for the sake of arguement that u buy a 19 u can only buy 10 rnd mags for it??i mean thats like cutting ur cap. in half.. do u agree with this law, i mean i dont really see this cutting crime down at all i think a law that puts in place more stringent background checks&better laws for assaultrifles would do more

  • IMO a law made by non-gun owners who don't know much about firearms.. a law that sounds like it does something when it really accomplishes very little

  • @arkangel8419 i live in ct and we can carry as many rounds as you want i own a glock 19 and have a 15 and 31 round magazine the 31 is for the range obviously but that suck sorry

  • @braindeniro77 what r u talking about that sucks

  • @GunWebsites

Well as far a weights go I can tell the difference when I am holding one of my pistols with with an empty magazine and a full one. I can't tell by holding one with a full magazine if I have FMJ or JHP. Of course you really don't know exactly how a weight feels untill you hold it and feel the balance, shape, and other factors. I just think it is imprecise because some pistols can nearly double weight when loaded.

  • @bogombo for a standard 6 round .380 handgun, each of the six bullets will weigh roughly 95 grains and add about an ounce possibly 1.5 ounces when fully loaded depending on your bullet choice.

  • @bogombo LOL they always weigh guns in that way...not just people giving reviews but all gun companies too....IDK why but i guess bullets weigh the same so if u have a glock & a sig the bullets r gonna weigh the same so they just give uthe standard weight of the gun withought the bullets in it

  • lol actually they do it that way because its SAFER than messing around with loaded guns....

  • @ camikins772

    Good point

  • because it does not make a difference.

  • @bogombo yea I know lol.

  • @bogombo Different Ammos have different weights. you can only compare weights of guns when empty. It is only a referance point.

  • @bogombo Different bullets weigh different amounts. Find the weight of the ammo you want to carry and do the math.

  • Putting the Ruger or the P3-AT up against the Kel-Tec P-11, what do you like?

I like the 9mm firepower of the P-11, but then, it's not as concealable and a bit of a handful to shoot. Thoughts?

  • Ruger LCP

  • The PF-9 would be a better comparison for a CCW. 9mm but slimmer body than the P-11. That's the one I'm considering as an alternative to a pocket pistol.

  • Excellent suggestion, thank you!

  • out of all those guns which one do u perfer for the best carry option? which performs the best and which is the best quality?

  • Kahr P380

  • You also should do a review on a 380 DIAMONDBACK pistol, which looks and breaks down just like a full size Glock.

  • it sucks

  • Hey brother, I have a beretta 950bs 25 ACP what ammo should I run for maximum effectiveness.

  • I notice in the Kahr catalog they show the p380 as 9.97 oz ,but that is without a magazine,i think that is misleading just to make it appear lighter than it acually is,i'm glad you showed the true weight at 11.4 oz., at least Ruger showed the true weight as 9.4 oz ,with mag in their catalog witch you showed in you vid ,was right on the money at 9.4 oz.

  • I don't really read catalogs too often, so I didn't realize that, thanks for mentioning it.

It always bothers me when they do that too. Who carries a pistol without a magazine?

  • I got the mini Deagle. It's alright, but the trigger pull is absurdly heavy. It's a good safety I suppose. I can put it in my pocket, fully locked and loaded and never have to worry about it accidentally firing.

  • mine's comming in the mail, i'm so anxious

  • if you're willing to carry a .380 that's a little wider, there is a 15+1 round bersa thunder plus.

  • It is a big larger

  • check out the new Sig P238

  • we will when we get our hands on one, stay tuned

  • What about the Walther PPK 380???

  • I didn't have one to include

  • como la primera tengo yo una y se van mucho porke?no venderas pero si sabras eso no?por que se desvia tanto?por su tamaño apesar de ser una 9 ml ?gracias

  • LOL AT 1:03 U SAY 11 POUND HEHEHE

  • Gravity spike

  • Comment removed

  • Could you compare the Ruger LCP and the LCR?

  • sure, that is a good idea, thanks..

    stay tuned
