and fyi, backrow attackers ARE allowed, as long as they dont cross the 3m(10ft) line before jumping, or they stay below the top of the net. thats how it is in So Cal, one of the vb capitals of the world. and dancing is NOTHING like volleyball. Volleyball is like volleyball

idk wut u guys r talking about, different styles may evolve or come forth, but the real way teams win is by teaching the right work ethic, teach the kids to read and modify what theyre doing while playing, and most importantly to understand the moments that are for them to smash or be the defensive play of the game or to just stay out of the way and make sure u cover ur partner. intelligent players will always find a way to overcome any gameplan, and they will work theyre ass off to EARN a win

@crabbs13 that position is a rear striker. some teams use that term. some teams are always coming with new tactics and strategies. just last week, my team started using the term rear striker, so now, it is, in fact a volleyball position. just because it's not in rule book doesn't mean it doesn't exist. some teams create colloquial positions. it happens all the time. and nobody knows everything about anything. the most they can know is the rule book.

I've only played middle very rarely, but I've played setter/strong side/weakside and I've hit pipe lots of times.
