  • hey im looking to getting Star Wars the Old republic when it comes out, but i can either use bootcamp or parallels, btw i have a 3.06 ghz 2 duo and 4gb 800mhz, which is better?

  • @AfterEffects101 bootcamp because it takes full advantage of your computer, and parallels keeps both system running, which means more lag

  • Hi. I have an iMac i7 running boot camp in windows 7. Do I download the ATi drivers like I would do using a pc in windows or do I have to download boot camp mac drivers form ATI website. Thanks

  • Hey ill probabley be getting the higher end 21.5 inch imacs for Xmas and i was wandering if i would be able to play like WoW and maybe L4D2. Thank.

  • hi, umm i am going to buy a iMac soon and im getting the 21.5" 3.06GHz one with 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB of Ram i think 1TB of hard drive space (1,000 GB) ATI Radeon HD 4670 (including 256MB)

do you think i can install&play pc games like left 4 dead 2 / tomb raider underworld / assassins creed etc. recently out games on it using bootcamp on imac?

    =] thanks!

  • Definitely! I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 on my 3.06 iMac from 2008 and it's running great in bootcamp. Have fun! :)

  • dude can a i mac really handle games good cuz im about to get one? thanks

  • I'm thinking of getting a macbook pro 3.06 ghz, 4gb ram and whatever graphics card it comes with now. Do you think it would run Prototype?

  • It should run it pretty well.

  • thanks a ton.

  • if you wanted to run windows on your mac, you shouldnt have gotten a mac cuz u wasted yer money man. no offense.

  • nice. i think i might get an iMac one day, because i really need one.

  • Hi can i ask something :P some advise as i see you are gaming on a imac ... so here i comes ! . : I wanna buy a new imac the specs are 2.66Ghz Intelcore 2 Duo 2gb ram (butiwannachanceto4gb) 350 gb & ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO met 256 MB.

So is this anygood if u run bootcamp because i wanna play games like : World of warcaft , Guildwars 2 ( comming 2009 ) , Asassins creed , The new prince of persia game , The sims.

    Plz say something back !.

    Thanks already .

  • Thanks for the comment! You should be good to go, especially if you bump it up to 4 gigabytes of ram. Before I purchased my 3.06Ghz iMac I was looking at the same configuration as you're looking at now, and it was shown to be able to play Bioshock. WoW or Guildwars 2 shouldn't be a problem, and it will run Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia, just maybe not on the highest settings. Thanks for watching!

  • great to hear someone who really likes the Source engine games as well. Half-Life original has to be my favorite game. For my source games i use wine though. The only games i use windows for is Left 4 Dead and Gears of War.

  • Nice! I'll have to try using Wine because switching to Windows can be a pain sometimes. I checked out your channel and it looks like you have a pretty sweet setup - I've been thinking about picking up Gears of War and it looks like it runs really well. I have Left 4 Dead for Xbox 360 but I've been thinking about picking it up for PC as well, I look forward to that video! Thanks for the comment. :)

  • Thanks for clarifying a few issues I was unsure of when running Boot Camp on Leopard. Though I'll continue gaming in Mac OS X native where possible, I'll now get Windows for playing a few PC-exclusives (like Total War & the like) on my iMac. Cheers!

  • Thanks for watching! I'm the exact same way. If I can get it native in OS X that's what I do but otherwise I use boot camp. My latest boot camp gaming experience was with STALKER: Clear Sky and that worked out pretty well. Let me know how Total War is! I played a hell of a lot of Rome: Total War and loved it.

  • good job, thx.

  • Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
