Well some of them you do, for example ep 8 and ep 13 are pure gameplay videos, ep 5 is mostly gameplay too. Other videos are just our meetings, some people want to watch that. But I won't argue with you that the videos are shit, some of them really are. But for you to say our game will never be finished without even checking out our latest video, is naive of you.
See perfect example of my comment in the VS video. Before I say anything i'm not saying what you have in ep 13 is bad just saying there should be more. While Gyrovorbis's videos are made from hours or even days of work, one episode for you is a 10min sitting with you doing no work...I know there is some work done but you have no were near enough to be calling other people out, much less advertising. This engine looks like it could be a fun game but you need to just do more work...
I would if they didn't put down other game development teams when they don't have enough work to back it up. I'm not saying they have a bad game so far, it actually looks like it could be pretty decent, but again just not enough.

This is even worse than GyroVorbis crap, how many times do I have to tell you people. REDNECKS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT CODING GAMES. It's an unwritten law.
Recoding something usually makes it better, but the main thing is that you don't necessarily know how everything will gel, esp in the main loop. For example, if you take 3 major components like player movement, bullet movement, and enemy movement - the order that you perform these functions can and might have to change depending on how collision is handled. Collision detection is a real bugbear for me.
It's not exactly starting over. Mostly all of the code is reusable. I'm just still not sure on how the whole game engine should be organized, so every now and then I start over and put it back together in a different way.
I would definitely benefit from taking the time to sit down and plan it all out on paper, but this game (so far) is small enough to let me just mess around without having to think too far into the future.
You guys have a very relaxed...easily distracted attitude. Sounds just like me. Thumbs up!

Things can be constantly optimized this way.
