In 1989 there was a double blind, placebo-controlled study done on 487 influenza patients who had been referred by 149 different doctors. Over half who were given the homeopathic remedy called oscilloccoccinum recovered from the flu within 48 hours. The Lancet was not only impressed with the results but by how well the study was conducted. The study was published in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology in 1989.

@BernieSloane My family has used homeopathy for 3 generations and it always works. It isn't as easy as just going out and buying a remedy for an isolated problem--that is where a lot of people get it wrong and why it may not do what it is supposed to. They use the incorrect medicine, combination, etc.
You people who brush it aside without any study or personal research just come off as ignorant trolls. I use it successfully and have seen its success amongst my family and some of my friends.
@asands "I use it successfully and have seen its success amongst my family and some of my friends."
I prefer to rely upon the results of the rigorous studies that have been done which show it to be no more effective than a placebo. Personal testimony is worthless, sorry. Sounds like the placebo effect is working for you though, and if you want to spend your money on what is efectively water, than fine - it's your money! I object to NHS spending MY money on this shit.

My GP has prescribed it for me; double blind tests have revealed that Oscilloccinium is above placebo!! Other clinical trials-German and French Universities have tested it on hundreds of people and concluded it to be effective in treating the flu symptoms within 48 hours
@Amygdala100 the UK government should've shut these Charlatans down I say. Tax payer's money supporting fraudsters, and in this time of austerity? disgusting!
From Wikipedia: As there are only about 10^80 atoms in the entire observable universe, a dilution of one molecule in the observable universe would be about 40C. Oscillococcinum would thus require 10^320 more universes to simply have one molecule in the final substance.
actually thats why it didnt work dereklicon - a basic philosophy of `Homeopathy is MINIMUM DOSE - ...less works best - read the organon written by the founder of homeopathy - i'm sure you'll find the correct way to administer homeopathy in there ... you may not find the organon as stupid as this video ....
So I guess if you take none, it will work the best?
I'm sorry, but less of a substance does not cause more of an effect, and there is no reason why duck blood would have anything to do with reducing the symptoms of a flu (even if there was any duck blood in it, which there isn't)
I was prescribed it by a non classical homeopath. I was not told very much. at all. Just take this 3 x a day for this long.
I felt something was so very odd I stopped taking it. I addressed my life at the time very closely to see what else could be causing it and could find nothing out of the ordinary. Excellent diet, water and exercise. etc.
My vision went back to normal after I stopped it.
I have never had blurry vision before or after this.

Snake oil. Anybody with a high school science education can see through this BS. The FDA needs to do something about this.

Oscillo is a WASTE OF MONEY and contains NONE OF THE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS like most other homeopathic "remedies".

From July 26th 2010, our UK Government emphatically backed the people’s right to NHS homeopathy.

I took Arnica for months 3 times a day.
My vision went blurry and I started feeling very light.
I later found out that Arnica is prescribed for blurry vision.I did not know this, so it was not placebo.
I was bringing on the disease by taking it for that long. (too long)
Homeopathics work.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc?
Just because you think something works doesn't mean it does.
What kind of arnica were you taking? How were you taking it? How do you know it caused the blurry vision if you were taking it for months already?

This was not subtle, the effect, I was off the planet.
(I think it was 200c taken well away from food)
Classical Homeopaths would never prescribe a remedy for that log apparently.

Stupid.....
I took 20 doses once and it didn't do anything.
Good job on advertising a sugar pill.
