@fortheloveofthesound In basic modes Phrygian, Lydian, and Locrian all have a Major Two chord. Not to mention other more exotic scales.....So to say the two chord is never major is flat wrong.....Theoretically speaking the is no "never." After that we can get into poly-harmonies =)
Who cares about the number of views? That's a great inspiration for "the chosen ones" ;) Thank you all. God Bless You Duke, nice man (I've just bought your previous DVD - Hot Licks :)
It's fine with me there aren't that many views. No one will know where I got it from!
I saw Duke live in the mid 90's and was convinced he was Freddie King's heir apparent. I'm so happy to see he put out a DVD. Prolly gonna buy it after I play enough gigs to make rent, lol.
Nice one, Duke is the Duke and he plays with Ronnie Earl, just brillant

When would the two chord ever be anything besides minor? The two chord is never major.

Thanks, Duke! Great stuff. I've been trying to find someone who could add the jazz harmonies into a real blues context. Much appreciated!
