  • Anybody but Bent, OOOOOo

  • When I first saw this, I was in love with Patrick and George...I couldn't decide......NOw...I still love both of them

  • George Hazard was my favorite character in North & South!

  • The actor who plays "Bent" is Phillip Casnoff. A great character actor. He was in Oz in t he late 90's and also played Frank Sinatra in a mini series.

  • Bent disliked

  • In the name of decency sir cover yourself!!!!! LOL n Orry n George n other guy jst crack out laughing. Love this bit!!!

  • LOL i love the way he says whore

  • @MeEpMiNk LMAO! Me too. He says it like, "Ho-Wa"

  • gosh stop whining Bent....nobody likes you

  • Anyone else think the lady looks like a rodent of some kind.

  • Poor Elkanah lol, Not!

  • It's a pity that Orry and George didn't let Bent drown.

  • @Sisyphus27 i do agree with you on that! they should have let Bent drown in the lake!

  • @TheFuamus Re: letting Bent drown in the lake. I agree, but every good story needs a perfect asshole. And Bent, my friend, is the perfect asshole. I HAAAAATE HIM!

  • @hukins1215 You my friend are so right! But I still hate him for killing Orry and Constance!

  • i wish the whole movie was posted

  • I wanna know where she was hiding that gun ;]

  • "In the name of deceny, Sir, cover yourself." lmao I always liked this scene.

  • ciao Patrick...sei stato un grande.

  • RIP patrick

  • i never like bentz, i still don't. but in the other civil war movie he was in was he was pretty cool. just something about him in this i didn't like. jackson looked like jackson (stonewall) other person was George E Pickett

  • Me emocionada ver todo esto!!..que recuerdos mas bellos de mi infancia...ademas estaba enamorada de George!!..jajaja..

  • i love how the guys are just sitting under the deck laughing

  • Diese Szene ist voll lustig, shade das sie nicht auf deutsch ist.aber sonst genial.

  • Ach ja, du hast recht!!! Deutsch ist besser dann Englisch!

  • I remember the North and the South was so addictive. It was so much so that I remember it came on my Tv back in the 80's and I watched it even though it was in French and I couldn't understand a word of french. It was called the Nord et la Sud, or something like that. I lived in Canada back then.

  • yep saw it in french english too lol

  • Bent kills me! He's hysterical. I always laugh at the way he says "you whore!" with that thick southern accent.

  • I think it is cool.

  • yes it is from a mini series back in the 80s called "north and south" from the books

  • This looks really good, is this from a miniseries?? I'd like to watch these in ORDER.

  • It's such a long miniseries. There are about 5 or 6 discs, two sided, and each episode is like 2 hours long. It's an amazing series though!

  • in the books, bent was supposed to be fat...i just noticed that this bent isn't. i saw the series a couple of years back. i love this series!

  • I could be wrong but I think in the books Bent was fat as a child and was ridiculed which turned him into what he was...

  • He probably busted his nut all over the whore or the sheets when he got caught. LOL!!

  • Its funny the way they just sit there listenting to the whole conversation trying so hard not to burst out laughing.

  • haha Bent is soo funny! I'm looking for a quote of his where he's sitting at his fathers office being humiliated and then saying something like I AM A FINE LIEUTENANT FATHER! is that true?? PLEEEASE if you could find that. PLEEEEASE.

  • Girlie Rat- PLEASE TELL ME more quotes. I laughhed till I choked

  • Haha. How can I pick one? There are a lot from Virgilia...her character was so radical that there is so much material to choose from. Lol.

  • AM sure Virgilia's comments would be sarcastic.... radical indeed. PLEASE write more comments.

  • Hey GirlireRat- I'm glad to hear that someone else quotes this movie sometimes in daily life! My best friend and I always quote Isabel Hazard's line about Virgilia (at the end of Book 1): "She can go to a hotel... or she can go to a hospital... or she can go to hell!" That one is one of my favorites!

  • "In the name of decency Sir, cover yourself!" Hahaha. My siblings and I quote this part all the time! We quote a lot from this series! There's so much material! I love it!

  • Bent definitely had a Napoleonic Complex.

  • Hahahahaha!!!!
