i just want to say, thank you so much for making your inventions, i am young, i do not come from a wealthy family, but i swear one day i will get the money to buy your instruments, just looking at your pure skill from the way you play your instruments to how you make them is what has inspired me to get into music, to make my own music, to learn how to play the guitar, to make self expression in my art and my poetry and my songs, and for that i thank you John
Jonathan with all respect, do not use "cool" so often as it sounds a bit cheesy :P On the other hand I am very happy for the progress and improvement in the shop. I also like the idea of presenting various GuitarViol artists. Keep on doing the good work. Best wishes.
@BAK87 Got it. Thanks. Perhaps I'll have to resort to "Exceedingly Bitchin' " on occasion. LOL. Thanks for the kind words. Yes, there is a long queue of artist features and interviews. I recently did one about Erdem Helvaciaglu from Turkey (text version). My upcoming ones will likely be both text/audio/video. Stay tuned!
@CheezeWolf The acoustic comes turn key with a simple transducer with variable positioning. It is built for ease of pickup installation whatever pickups get tried and in stalled in it's life. The ElectroCoustic models have a dual Magic pickup system which relies on the movement of the top. One is a magnet coil, the other a transducer sandwiched between the top and pseudo sound post. Electric solid body models feature the BOWD Horizon bridge pickup system which has one pickup per string saddle

I've always loved the sound of walnut, and I've never understood why it hasn't been used that much, so it's great to see you taking a liking to it.

just wondering... for the electric/electric acoustic guitarviols, what do you use to amplify it electrically (pickups).
