Your paint seems to spread so easily, is that because you are working with oils? I've been working with acrylics and cannot seem to get the same fluidity.... Also how might you go about thinning out the top layer enough to be transparent? Is that also a trait of oils? I love your Peinture Du Jour's!
what did you put on it to make it blend was it just a shade/coat of gray?????? or what, bc it was well blended and you were still able to see the trees how did u do it?
ELIOT!!!!!! WHY!?!?!?!?! why do you have to be sooo amazing at this!?!?! I'm soooo jealous I wish I could paint like you! ♥ you make me look so bad! haha ne ways I'm just glad your my friend lol ttyl I LOVE LOVE LOVE this painting you did an amazing job like always! ttyl
I really like how you constructed the background, the trees and the placement of the dark tones in the work...just beautiful Elliott. BUT honestly (and this is just my own opinion) I'm not convinced by the hanging light!... I get the idea though! Very cool to watch you paint!
It's lovely, Elliot. I love watching you paint. Mist rocks! I like what you did at the end of the video with the flash of all those photos... Cool! :o) Have a happy weekend.
Silly me, I neglected to let you know how I liked it! It is truly magnificent in its entirety. The trees in the distant fog make a great feature. Thanks for uploading.
Well then you produce a masterpiece consisting of a street lamp and some fog and branches yet it somehow still makes me very emotional and holds powerful meaning! And its just prettyfulness because thats a word.
I shared this one by the way. Not that I had many friends to share with hehe Oh my goodness post the comment you shit. Not you sir the thing
very Good, painting that Old Fashioned Light. Its Great how you Got that Effect on the tree limbs. Elliott, Slow down the other photos...I wanna See them, OK. Seems like it was you on Vacation with Family? Who's that Cute little boy? ARtistiChicana, Tomorrow I make my Next Video...Plausible I hope.
They are meant to go fast to kind of tease you. This painting is inspired from a trip to Tuscany in November. The photo's were from the trip. The idea is that it's remarkable how we focus on the simplest of things during such a big event like this. Thanks for watching. Feel free to share this with others. I would like to get some new friends like you this time. :)
Wow! I know wow is a cliche', but it's what I said, so I wrote it down. Amazing misty effect with the streetlight. Dickensian feeling. I'm favoriting this one so I can learn from it.
emotionally, this may be your best vid. very powerful painting too. as usual, you are pushing the boundaries for painting vids. loved the long shot from the other end of the room.

I let the first layer dry, then painted a thinned out layer over top. when it dries it becomes transparent. Good Luck and thanks for commenting.
