  • "It's a Jeep thing...You wouldn't understand" << Epic

  • great work guys. good to see folks putting a positive face on 4wheeling!

  • Good on you guys, its stuff like this that gives a good name to the entire offroad community.....except for those savage quadders, theyre probably out burning endangered species :D

  • I'm also with YL 4x4 Response. Nice to see we're not alone. Keep up the good work :)

  • @responder143 Thanks, we've been at it since 2004 and it has been a great service. We get huge snow storms here often!

    Cheers!

  • Great to see other 4x4 Drives do this.

I'm from the UK and part of 'York-Lincs 4x4 Response', which is part of 'National 4x4 Response', voluntary organisation that does the same in the UK.

    Keep up the good work

  • @pantherukcom Thank you, we've been doing this since 2004

  • Great to see people taking things like this in their own hands.... Keeping the government at arms length, they would just screw it up. Besides if the government did it this would cost the public 6 figures

  • LOL! Why the hell am I not doing this?! I should start a club like this! I was the only person on my block with a capable truck to deal with bad weather, so when snow hit, I was always the unofficial salt courier. While it's fun to do with just me and my husband, it's videos like this that make me want to branch out a bit, haha! Happy Trails -- err, Roads!!

  • We're starting a new Jeep club here in Pennsylvania. What an awesome way to provide community service for EMS personnel.

  • my yukon pulled many cocky 4x4 jeep owners out of ditches last winter.

  • thats bad ass i should start something like that becuz i live in portland and the hospital is up a 1 mile hill that no one can make it up

  • ya, im from good 'ol Moncton

im running an all black '98 tj 4.0 sahara, locked on 33s, etc.

I couldn't make it to your Jam last year cos work commitments, I only made half of ours for that matter :S

what's your name on the board(s)?

    Brad

"Emergency Response(slash recovery, both work) Team"

    or

    ERT

  • haha, I finally found the video!

im from the NB Jeep Club, we've been trying to get something like this going on a public basis, currently we only deal with our own members for emergencies, but we had plans to go to RCMP, paramedics, hospitals, as well as tow truck companies

lots of work to get it all organized

kudos to you guys on getting it done & see ya at the next Jam!

    Brad

You guys are awsome, your attitude is just the best.

    Hugh, Sydney Australia.

  • And again I find more of your talents.

Man, better let some doctors borrow some of your DNA to implant it to other Jeep Clubs.

Great way to be of service to your comunity, great role models. I hope this gets publicized more and that a pan-canadian movement starts on.

Get the name trademarked, what a good find: Severe Weather Assistance Team-SWAT.
