I have to do the same.. i outgrew my pony...... :,( i dont want to say goodbye... i dont want her toleave.. im scared she forgets me... im scared something happens out on the farm shes going to.. im not selling, just sending her away for a while... times are tough and life is hard... :,( how did you cope? :,( i dont think i can...

@lutom101 thanks, sorry for the late reply. but they ended up giving her back a few years later, and we sold her to a 7 year old boy who planned on showing her. :]

I know how you feel! Just a few days ago I had to get rid of my bay Thourobred gelding...I just couldn't stop crying..Every time I saw his face my eyes would just water up...He was my first horse..The people I bought him from sold him to me with a bad leg, and I wasn't allowed to keep him if I couldn't ride him.... :( I'm sorry about your horse...Very pretty.

i dont get to see the horse.

she lives an hour and a half away from me.

about your horse, i would try sometimes just bringing her in and not riding her. just like bring her in, giver her a bath, groom her up really nice, play some ground games with her.

she may associate you coming out to get her in her field with always getting worked.

her owner and i are really good friends.
