Jesus Christ and his disciples did not get married. Is it because they were immature? Many of the worlds great contributors did not get married. Does the failure to get married mean that one is immature? The train set and star wars collection thing is a straw man argument. Many men are making important sacrifices to make the world a better place but are choosing not to marry.
I would say that a sign of maturity is the ability to run a cost /benefit - risk/reward analysis.
