Democrats value fiscal responsibility just like Republicans, contrary to propaganda networks like Fox News. Isolationism is the opposite of Ron Paul's foreign policy. To fail to realize that can only be the result of a serious learning disability and/or illiteracy. Interventionist militarism is a characteristic of the left/Democrat. It was Woodrow Wilson, the grandfather of modern Progressivism, that advocated "making the world safe for Democracy."
It is the Republican tradition to keep the military out of nation building and using war and the military as a tool for political change.
