der wagen hat zwar drehmoment in tiefen gängen ABER es geht um den Rundenrecord mit nem serien auto und da muss er ALLES aus dem Wagen Raus holen.. und die Fahrfehler sind nicht ansatzweise schlimm.. der wagen Verzeiht GARNICHTS daher Fährt er auch so zittrig (jeder der mal versucht hat am Limit mit ner Viper zu fahrn weis das)

und JA der wagen ist serie nur halt als ACR Version die kann man sich so wie man sie da sieht kaufen

Everything is fine with gearbox mounters,and everything is fine with his driving skills too. He didn't upshift,because it requires time to shift,and why shifting,when u have corner half a second from there. And I did noticed 2 errors here,and both are miss shiffting,so he lost I guess 2-5 seconds there,but U can't go much faster than this time he set... Respect!

if you people havent raced before, when you shift up you lose about 3mph depending on the car because you let off the gas. He dosent need to shift when the turns right there. Plus its not his car so he rely dosent care about it.

Actually, in many situations it is faster to stay on the limitor than to shift. Why shift when he needs to brake only one second later? In other situation, he might already be going as fast as he can or dare, and then it's much safer to stay on the limitor than to shift. Remember, this is a professional driver. He knows exactly what he is doing.

durch viele kleinere fehler hat der fahrer mehrere sekunden liegen lassen.

das getriebe kann mit dem rest vom wagen überhaupt nicht mithalten.

7.22 ist bestimmt nicht das letzte wort vom von der acr viper!

ja, die Zeit ist gut, aber wie der das auto quält ist peinlich. ne viper ständig an den begrenzer hämmern ist völlig krank. allerdings scheint die schaltung eh nicht sein freund zu sein. also entweder länger übersetzen, oder nen gang tiefer, etwas ruhiger das ganze, und vielleicht springen sogar noch ein paar sekunden mehr zeitgewinn raus ;))

Gute Zeit, zugegeben, aber wenn man mal schaut, wie gut andere Fahrer die NS umrunden, komme ich zum Schluss, dass die Rundenzeit einfach nur durch die Power kommt, aber nicht durch Fahrkönnen. Habe selbst 'ne Viper und kann sagen, dass man nicht zwingend vor jedem Gangwechsel den Begrenzer quälen muss. Der Witz bei dem Wagen ist ja gerade das Drehmoment, weshalb man auch gerne mal 'nen Gang tiefer fahren kann.

Dennoch Gratulation zu dieser Zeit - das muss man sich erst mal trauen...

But with regards to the 7.22, miss-shiftung and the dancing gearlever, I assume a extra-stiffened enginge/gearbox- mounting, plus slick-tires, racefuel and other no-stock-modifications...

Without miss shifts to 3rd it should be in the 7:20-21 range.

it did lose 5-10 mph on some corners due to poor gearing and even more on straight with high 5th (only 150 mph) so ill assume the people saying low 7:10s are correct.

die karre ist ja nur im begrenzer! und zu lang ist die viper vorne auch noch. der setzt ja nur auf^^ lol trotzdem geile rundenzeit für die viper.

auf der nordschleife setzen alle fahrzeuge auf, ich war zu den 24h vom nürburgring 2008 und es saßen sogar die scirrocos auf ^^

Well... the driver hit the limiter all the time because the cars gearing was not tuned for the track, so he would lose more precious seconds upshifting and having to downshift again, so he chose to hit the limiter instead.
