I'll have to upload some sample files to see if they fill up the new bigger player box. I don't actually see anywhere on my camera where it says it does widescreen but it's capable of hi-def 1920x1080. However when I got it a year ago I tried shooting in that mode and my computer wouldn't play the file. I probably need some additional codecs or something.
