Great job of editing two separate performances into one. Rogers cut from ," In The Flesh", a great DVD. Dogs on there is a 10++. Gilmours version of C. Numb from the "Pulse" DVD (not the one used here) is sound and visual perfection. Another greatest performance from David, and Richard, R.I.P., is Echoes, from "Remember That Night". Will be seeing Roger in Atl. in Nov. Can only dream of seeing Gilmour. Both guys are great, but David is in my #1 spot.
In MY opinion this is the best live version of Comfortably Numb.. and I love how the crowd went all crazy when Gilmour started to sing.. that shows really well how respected that man is. Pink Floyd - the best band ever.. there will never be one like it. Period.

the 2 produced some of the greatest songs ever together its such a waste that they dont get along and with rick and syd gone if they dont get back together and do something with nick mason music is dead forever
Nice work editing the performances together! It was so nice seeing them play it at L8 - they play it well separately but never as good as when they're together...
I would never get technical with someone like you. In fact, I am straining to talk down to you, at your level. It is difficult, but I'll manage. So, you are a homophobe, and now you have issues with the elderly. What happened, son? Did some mean old man yell at you and tell you to get off his lawn? Is that it? Now you hate "old people" too? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Hey boy, get off my lawn! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Go get a job. Move out of mommy's basement. Go comment on something you know, like traspassing
Ah. Another male organ reference. It is more than clear what is on *this* "artist's" mind. Johnsons. Big Johnsons, and lots of them. Must be one of these "artist" things, the need to constantly think about the sexuality of other men. I have no problem with this clown being gay. Not my kind of thing, but he has the right to like Big Johnsons if he wants, and take them in whichever orifice he chooses! Good luck with that.
Yet another reference to "male on male love". What is up with you, son? Is that some kind of sexual term of endearment? It does nothing for me, personally. And what is this quote off your homepage, hey yo ding-dong man...ding-dong"? Another male organ reference? You have "issues", boy. Serious issues. Come out of that closet. We won't laugh, much. Just come out. Accept who you really are. Until you do, you will continue to be some disgruntled boy on YouTube demanding respect.
It makes me a man, boy. My IQ? The last time tested it was 174. yours? Room temperature? I think so. You seem to think we are "debating". Hardly. I am insulting you, boy. I don't debate with the idiot artist crowd. It isn't worth the effort. Run along, boy. Go paint mommy a picture of something near and dear to your heart: male organs. I am sure she will appreciate it. She has seen it all before, right? Many times. I tend to think, when you were conceived, it must have been via rear entry.
Seeing as how IQ tested at the top of the bell curve, how you think 174 is a low IQ score, the fact that you haven't listed your IQ results (room temp/72), and the fact that you hold this to be a measure of intelligence (which it is not; it measure capacity to learn), I would estimate that you are a dumbass. Most of it is genetics. You had the misfortune of being bred by a trash truck driver crossed with a slopeheaded, quarter-gobbling sperm receptacle. Your loss.
160 to 174 - 1 in 11,000 above 160 - Descartes, Einstein, Spinoza
174 to 200 - 1 in 1,000,000 above 174 - Shakespeare, Goethe, Newton
I bet you are embarrassed. I am not. I am in good company, while you are condemned to a life of wikipedia-fueled delusions of grandeur. Most intelligent people do not issue wikipedia references as fact. I won't explain why. Don't try to be a "rocket scientist", artist.
I have studied Michelangelo and DaVinci. To paraphrase a quote: You, "sir", are no Michelangelo (or DaVinci). Your unstated IQ is likely neither 190, or even 180. It is much lower than that, which is why you have refused to state it. In fact, I doubt you were tested, based on your use of wikipedia. Not an assumption. An educated estimation, based on your own words. Just because you claim to be an "artist" doesn't mean you are in the same intellectual class as other artists. Dope.
My estimation: you are ashamed and you do lie. Otherwise, you would have stated your IQ, and not DaVinci's. I ignore most of what you have to say. I assert my opinion, and back it with reason. You merely call names. You have ranked on old people, homosexuals, and many others. I responded in kind. You win nothing boy. Don't like opinions asserted? Pick a different hobby. YouTube doesn't seem like your bag. I got an idea! Get a job, loser!
You have a job? Yet, you spend your days on YouTube, all day, every day? No. You don't have a job. You might have a place subsidizing your internet ativities, but you don't work. There is a difference. Rhyme? I am not writing lyrics here. I am insulting a moron. it doesn't have to rhyme. Your bigoted attacks on old people, homosexuals and others are here to see. Your justifications mean little, boy. You are right about "Joe the Plumber". It was an insult. To plumbers. They have jobs.

Once again, Since I must repeat myself.. I don't hold "discussions" with people who use "dude" much. I prefer to talk at you, vesus to you. It's easier.
I like Pink Floyd, and my musical tastes suck? Sure, boy. Guess that means you suck as well. Suck hard, son. Think of your repeated references to male organs, and suck for all you are worth (not much).
Need directions? Ask mommy how.
Maybe after tonite's show, you can ask me for an autograph, and a loan, loser.

It makes you a bigot, son. Thought I had already mentioned that. I am not talking to everyone else in the world. I am talking AT you, boy. Stop whining for help. I see no help coming for you. But, I am done talking at you for now. I have a gig in the Bay Area tonight and need to start heading that way. Gotta earn that money. That's right, you would know little about that, troll. By Sunday's show, I will be able to pay off your mortgage.. and you won't be able to, you starving artist moron you.
Gilmour formed no "supergroup". He took what Roger had constructed, claimed it as his own, including the name of the group which preceded his own participation in the group. It is easy to take something already created and claim credit, as Gilmour did. Roger created it, along with Syd, Nick, Richard and others. Gilmour had nothing to do with it. Floyd was already successful before Gilmour joined. Gilmour only became famous because of the ideas of others. Isn't that his life story. You bet it is.
The only thing twisted is the tracks of your logic train, which has likely caused the train wreck that is you. I don't pay your mom for sex. She ain't that good. How much do you pay your mom? Fifty a pop? That's cents, boy. Put a couple quarters in her ear, and her teeth fold back, do they? I bet the trash truck driver that helped breed you didn't pay her more than that. He probably smelled better too. Less fishy, but still as trashy. She wants more $? Tell her to bathe and shave that monobrow
The only thing twisted is the tracks of your logic train, which has likely caused the train wreck that is you. I don't pay your mom for sex. She ain't that good. How much do you pay your mom? I am cool and smart. Comes with being a musician for 40 years. Making a living at it too. You wouldn't know much about that though, being 27 years old and likely still living in mommy's basement, boy. One day when you grow up, you might be able to be a human. Maybe. Doubtful. Your repeated references to male body parts and excretions and homosexuality does make me think you have a guilty conscience. Does mom know? Is she missing underwear too? She should check your sock drawer. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I was 22 when I bought my house. Why? Still feeling a tad inferior? An "artist". Go figure. It was clear that you had no background in music, other than your YouTube drivel. Haven't lived with mommy since 18? Doubtful, mommy's boy. Most artists are a touch, shall we say, feminine and in need of coddling. Obviously, you fity this description since you seem to demand that others respect your uninformed opinion. I don't respect it. Now boy, go draw a nice picture for mom and you'll get a gold star!
Yes. At 22. I probably could have bought it at 18, but I was not at home long enough to warrant having one. By the time I was your age, I had my second one. At 45, I have had many properties. The problem is, boy, you measure the rest of the world against your personal scale of accomplishments, which is why you have an unwarranted high opinion of yourself. If you measured success by more rational means, you would see that you are not unique, intelligent, or special as a 27 year old homeowner
Yes. At 18, I had enough money from royalties and residuals, touring, and other sources to buy a house. Since I was on the road non-stop until I was around 22, I had no need for a house. When I bought one, I paid in full. Did you? No? You mean you financed it for 30 years with interest?
I don't wish to impress you. Based on your self-love about being a 27 year old homeowner, obviously you have low standards for being impressed. Also, this theory bears out when applied to your johnson-worship of Gilmour. Obviously, your standards are low. I bet you get impressed by the chicken that plays tic-tac-toe too. No. I don't want to impress you. I wish to laugh at you.
I lost no argument. All I managed to do was corner a semi-literate moron, using his own words as ammo. It wasn't too difficult. You did most of the work for me. I am not sorry you are an unemployed starving artist who owns a mortaged home, and who attempts to joust with words via YouTube as entertainment in his miserable life. Not sorry about it at all. I find it amusing. Something to point at.
I am not assuming you are employed. I don't assume that. In fact, I doubt it. You are here during business hours frequently. If you do work, you are getting paid for not working. You can't sit on YouTube all day and claim to work, boy.
I am not worth your time, yet here you sit. Sure, boy. Sure.
The only one wiglling in bullshit is yourself. Yes, you have gotten carried away. Your desperate need to be taken seriously is probably the cause of your lack of control. Me? I'm always in control
I don't carw why you subject yourself to insults. Your masochistic tendencies mean little to me. I am not worried about your lack of employment, except for the fact that my taxes are probably subsidizing your malingering lifestyle. Most of your ilk tend to suck off the welfare systems, while they lounge around mommy's basement and get amusement from harrassing people. I get it. I think it is sad (not from a sympathetic point of view).
Wow. Insulted by a malingering moron who does nothing but. Go figure. (roll eyes here).
That welfare will run out soon. Your house values will drop. You will not be able to sell it, due to being upside down in the mortgage (as you are in life). Meanwhile, I will celebrate your loss! End of story.
I don't feel anything for you. People like you are only good to point at and laugh. I save my sympathies for people deserving of them. Poor. Disabled. People who have experienced tragedy.
Dumbass internet trolls do not generally tug on my heart strings. Want sympathy? Go cry to your momma. Chances are, she won't give you any either. She probably thinks as low of you as I do, if she thinks of you at all between hits off her crack pipe.
Read your first sentence in your previous post, genius. (i.e. "I feel bad for you"). Are you truly this stupid. Hmm. Maybe I will reconsider and actually feel bad for you. You are that stupid.
No. I will not let myself feel anything for people like you. You deserve what you get in life. Little.
I save my considerations for people who deserve them, and not for crying whining bleeding heart artist types who beat their chests (and other things) and demand respect that they have not earned.
Yeah? Then why bring it up? Is all this talk confusing you? Funny. I am not lost or confused, boy. Guess those additional IQ points help me out, and possibly give me an unfair advantage over you "Joe-the-Plumber" types. "Miser"? A person reluctant to spend money? Pehaps you meant "meister", which of course is German for "master". Even your insults are idiotic. Your mistakes betray the real reason you keep your IQ a secret. It is no secret, cretin. I could estimate it after the first exchange.
I have earned much respect in life, but then again, I have had time to live unlike you, and have worked to earn respect of those I care about. My library of work stands on its own. I actively support many charities, and inactively support many others. I have no issue getting respect in life. Sure, losers like you who get their already dimmed wits turned off completely might not have respect. It isn't sought or wanted.
Active = manpower and money. Inactive = money. Difficult concept, I know. Especially for the "I worship David's dong" types like yourself. What charities/causes? USO, Intrepid Soldiers Fund, PETA, MDA, are some of the major ones. I am flattered you call me Tom Jones. He is a much better man than you.
Now boy, go get a job. If you spent 1/8 the time you spend on YouTube, you might own your house. The bank owns it right now, right? Sure it is. You aren't a homeowner. You are a mortage holder.
"The bank owns it right now, right? Sure it is". That is the actual quote. Sad you cannot even cut and paste, let alone read context, and understand it. As stated, this communication-YouTube thing doesn't seem to be your bag, boy. I have no great need to read you my resume'. I see nothing like that coming from you; you even hide your IQ. Listen to classic rock stations. You will hear me. Have fun paying off that 30-year, one house mortgage, while not working, boy.
If one guy is writing the vast majority of the music and lyrics and developing the vast majority of the concepts for the music, I think it is fair to expect the non-contributing dead weight to at least carry a little bit of the weight, and play without complaint. Roger should have ditched those clowns years before he actually left. Rogers left after all, not Gilmour. Gilmour stayed to milk as much money out of the cash cow as possible, didn't he? The P. Fraud productions are proof of that.
Like this: "Gilmour and Wright were dead weight". Comprende? Si? Why ask me if I play better than Gilmour, when Gilmour doesn't play better than Gilmour any longer? Doyle Bramhall II plays Gilmour better than Gilmour. So does Snowy White. I know may pro musicians who play Gilmour note-for-note. It isn't hard. Gilmour was no Zappa, or Page. As you admit, he was not as fine a mucisian as Waters. Waters played guitar on many cuts, in response to your "Dave played bass" crap.
Roger is a smart guy. Too bad Wright and Gilmour didn't heed the warning, and didn't appear to appreciate the success Waters had guided them to, with his concept albums. Sure, Gilmour can still go out on his Pink Fraud tours, surrounding himself with 3 drummers, and an army of unnecessary people to try and recreate the past, but he never will. He doesn't have the writing tallentt to produce Pink Floyd music, and he never will. For that, he would need Roger. otherwise, he is a guitarist, no more.
Final Cut produced a number of great songs, and was not a Waters solo album, but a Floyd album, containing leftover Wall material and odds and ends. Southampton Dock is a fine song. Superior of its own to any Gilmour song produced since Waters left the band. Waters was the chief songwriter and lyricist of the group, not Gilmour. The vast majority of the great Floyd songs were written by Waters. The lack of Waters in Gilmour's solo efforts is clear and audible.
I think everyone knows that the Final cut was not a solo album..But to be honest it is very weak for a "Pink Floyd" album. It does have a few bright spots my fav being "Not Now John" (which happens to be the only song on the album Gilmour sang on) Its also obvious that Waters was the main writing force but you can't deny that Gilmour's voice and guitar playing added a great dimension. The Division Bell was a GREAT album. The truth is both are great but together they are PINK FLOYD!!! .simple
Final Cut was destined to be "weak". Gilmour had decided he didn't like the success of "The Wall", and wanted a new direction. Wright fought the success of The Wall, and had to be replaced. The last true Floyd album recorded as a joint effort was WYWH. Had Gilmour and Wright not been dickheads, they would have continued on the journey with Roger. They got off the bus, and the music suffered. They now sing "Arnold Layne" and rubbish like "High Hopes" and dream of what could have been. Their loss
"Island" was laughable. A horrible piece that should have never been recorded. The Division Bell was blah. Completely lacking in energy. Lyrically, Waters was greatly missed. Pulse and Momentary were no better. On the other hand, Waters efforts produced much better works. Radio Kaos, Pros and Cons, and even Floyd covers like Wall:Berlin and In The Flesh were fantastic. Gilmour was not missed in the least. His original works were lyrically sound, and examples of what Floyd could have been.
lol i thought this was real haha. cause at :55 seconds and dave comes on, he looks to his right so i thought he was looking at roger ahaha. great editing!!
Great job on the editing and great video. Would you possibly be able to edit Roger Waters' In the flesh version as you have here with Glmoour's Pulse version? I feel that that mix would be even greater. Thanks

Maybe that is why you only own one home, genius.

Pehaps you meant "meister", which of course is German for "master". Even your insults are idiotic. Your mistakes betray the real reason you keep your IQ a secret. It is no secret, cretin.
ComfortablyDumm 3 years ago

magickjac 3 years ago
Like this: "Gilmour and Wright were dead weight". Comprende? Si? Why ask me if I play better than Gilmour, when Gilmour doesn't play better than Gilmour any longer? Doyle Bramhall II plays Gilmour better than Gilmour. So does Snowy White. I know may pro musicians who play Gilmour note-for-note. It isn't hard. Gilmour was no Zappa, or Page. As you admit, he was not as fine a mucisian as Waters. Waters played guitar on many cuts, in response to your "Dave played bass" crap.
ComfortablyDumm 3 years ago
Roger is a smart guy. Too bad Wright and Gilmour didn't heed the warning, and didn't appear to appreciate the success Waters had guided them to, with his concept albums. Sure, Gilmour can still go out on his Pink Fraud tours, surrounding himself with 3 drummers, and an army of unnecessary people to try and recreate the past, but he never will. He doesn't have the writing tallentt to produce Pink Floyd music, and he never will. For that, he would need Roger. otherwise, he is a guitarist, no more.
ComfortablyDumm 3 years ago
Final Cut produced a number of great songs, and was not a Waters solo album, but a Floyd album, containing leftover Wall material and odds and ends. Southampton Dock is a fine song. Superior of its own to any Gilmour song produced since Waters left the band. Waters was the chief songwriter and lyricist of the group, not Gilmour. The vast majority of the great Floyd songs were written by Waters. The lack of Waters in Gilmour's solo efforts is clear and audible.
ComfortablyDumm 3 years ago
I think everyone knows that the Final cut was not a solo album..But to be honest it is very weak for a "Pink Floyd" album. It does have a few bright spots my fav being "Not Now John" (which happens to be the only song on the album Gilmour sang on) Its also obvious that Waters was the main writing force but you can't deny that Gilmour's voice and guitar playing added a great dimension. The Division Bell was a GREAT album. The truth is both are great but together they are PINK FLOYD!!! .simple
MeanMrMustard99 3 years ago
Final Cut was destined to be "weak". Gilmour had decided he didn't like the success of "The Wall", and wanted a new direction. Wright fought the success of The Wall, and had to be replaced. The last true Floyd album recorded as a joint effort was WYWH. Had Gilmour and Wright not been dickheads, they would have continued on the journey with Roger. They got off the bus, and the music suffered. They now sing "Arnold Layne" and rubbish like "High Hopes" and dream of what could have been. Their loss
ComfortablyDumm 3 years ago
"Island" was laughable. A horrible piece that should have never been recorded. The Division Bell was blah. Completely lacking in energy. Lyrically, Waters was greatly missed. Pulse and Momentary were no better. On the other hand, Waters efforts produced much better works. Radio Kaos, Pros and Cons, and even Floyd covers like Wall:Berlin and In The Flesh were fantastic. Gilmour was not missed in the least. His original works were lyrically sound, and examples of what Floyd could have been.
