Damn you Yuki Kajiura! I had a dream last night and in it, I was the best composer in the world. I was making anime music left and right. I wake up and I see YOUR damn music staring at me and I just got sooooooooo sad. Nothing can ever compare to your stuff! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
It's kind of like a tired gloom . . . almost as if one were about to sleep, and maybe not wake up. It's a melancholic sort of gloom that's being conveyed to me that makes my eyes water a bit :[. Very good composition from Yuki Kajiura 5/5.
its so a thoughtful, reflective and melancholic music and so...i can't describe how i feel whenever i hear it . this music is filled with so much, strong feelings. i love it really
One day, I want to make compositions just like her! She is one of my biggest inspirations into making music with my cello. <3 The sad part is that I need to learn piano first... lol
Both Yuki Kajiura and Yoko Kanno are the best music composers I've seen! Next to Danny Elfman of course. But their music style is so different. It's somewhat similar to electronic, but with a more techno beat to them. I especially love their soft music. Makes me relax whenever I'm sad.
I completely agree. Danny Elfman is great too, and I also like Steve Jablonsky and especially James Horner. Their music has a more classic style, and like some of Kajiura and Kanno's work, it sometimes sounds better performed live rather than recorded on a computer.
why do you need to learn the piano first? shouldn't you learn the violin first instead of the piano? i don't learn instruments in any order, i just learn whatever instrument i feel like learning...as long as i can afford to buy that instrument lol.
@GoodMetalFTW Piano is easier to learn if you want to compose music, as you will get to compose with both trebble (melody) clef and bass (harmony) clef (like violin and cello) at the same time. However, in my scenario, I already learn cello and a bit of violin. lol So I'm good.

I know. I also want to make such great music like her. Next to Yoko Kanno, I believe she is one of the best composers and arrangers out there.
