  • It is so hard to find more than Pachelbel 's Cannon recorded. Like many Composers, I wish it was easier to find recordings of this beautiful music.

    Excellently played.

  • Bravo! from Rome..

  • Nice job!

What about playing some other Pachelbel Toccatas? (D major?). :-)

  • Very nicely done! Keep up the good work! ....What an unusual organ case - even the organist is "encased"!

I am impressed by the fine young organists I find on YouTube, so I have compiled a playlist of nearly 40 young organists. I have just added this video. (I have placed links to the playlist in organ relates sites, including the Wikipedia article "Organists".)

  • Yeh, there are lots of good (young) organists on Youtube! Thanks for putting me in that list!

You're right about the organ case being unusual - the instrument fills the whole of the North Transept from floor to ceiling (about 45ft) and is placed behind an elaborate wooden screen.

  • Hey, thanks for the comment. Yeh, I did use reeds in this piece, used the 8' Horn on the swell and then at 1:45 I added the 16' Double Trumpet, 8' Trumpet and 4' Clarion (also on the swell)

  • You played it more reverently than me, it's very nice, especially on this instrument:) Did You use reeds on manual?

  • Great!

  • Makes a change from continually hearing the Pachelbel Canon. It looks a fine church...
