From a Graphic Design standpoint I have to say that's some pretty damn good work! Nice choice of music, shots and fonts throughout! No critique from me :P

I like your choice of music. It keeps the viewer focused on the screen and the shots really mesh well with the rythum. There is one dance shot that is a little dark, but other than that the lighting is nicely done. Very nice.

To the point, frank, classic and maybe a bit cliché, pretty much just what it's supposed to be. :p

I like the typography, and the commercial is well coordinated to move along with the music. Though admittedly I dislike "And many more..." as the ... makes it sound downright negative. Maybe that's just me.

As for the deinterlacing and all, I suggest you go ask my friend bmydland about that. He's a /nerd/ at Sony Vegas & Adobe After Effects, as well as other programs in that genre.

Tvs separate the two fields out into separate frames, so it shouldn't be deinterlaced for tv.

Not sure what you mean by that, as the whole video is interlaced, not just the graphics.

In any case, you should try encoding a divX or Xvid version for youtube with something like AutoGK (freeware). It usually detects interlacing and deinterlaces automatically.

Divx check. That's what I did it in. And look carefully. The whole video isn't interlaced. Only the graphics and scrolling effects.

I see what you mean. What threw me off was the shot of the couple at 0:07 which seems to be interlaced as well despite there being no graphics or transitions on it.

Another possible solution would be running the video through the deinterlacing filter in VirtualDub (freeware video processing tool).

I tried that very thing, actually. No luck. I've had trouble in the past getting Vegas to deinterlace some videos. Sometimes it works and sometimes it simply refuses. I'm sure it's something I'm doing, but I have no idea what. I've tried everything I can think of.

Unbelievably, Vegas is a bit of a bugger for this one. A way around it:

File > Properties

Set your field order to "None"

Pixel Aspect ratio to 1.000

Deinterlace method to "interpolate fields"

if this doesn't work, render out at "preview" quality. You won't really lose ANY quality at high resolutions, and it doesn't interlace the video at ALL. :]
