Awesome review! I never knew you could do that trick with the controller to play Pac-Man on the Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga arcade. I just tried it out on the MAME version :)

@Envisaged0ne There's a 2nd code you can try. Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Fire. You'll hear the fruit eating sound. This toggles the "turbo" chip. If it's already on, you've just turned it off and vice versa. This code works on galaga and Ms PacMan too.

Ive done the code on the ms.pacman galaga machine a lot of times i even memorized the code. Ive been to levle 23 in Pac-Man

They aren't ghosts, they are monsters. The term ghosts came about when Atari released the 2600 version and due to limitations of the 2600 hardware and the poor choice of color caused them to flicker and appear translucent because each one only appeared in only 1 of 4 frames.

If you read the original artwork instructions, it refers to them as monsters, but then with the terrible 2600 version, they got changed to ghosts or ghost monsters.

@michael2244 Blinky gets his plelt sowed back on his ghost suit then chases Pac-Man. Pac-Man must have ripped his ghost suit when Blinky came back. Speaking of withch Mical forgot to mention the Pac-Man cartoon by Hanna Barbera.

This is my favorite review by you. Very interesting I think. I owne this game myself as a cocktail cabinet, but its the orginal japan version called Puck-Man.

Yeah once you get to know them, it makes the game so much more Stratigic based!

Also the two "L" passes right above the Ghosts House is a great place because they will never exit out of the square into those "L" passages!

hahaha.. love it. since you brought up billy mitchel, do you know if that sundance movie, Chasing Ghosts - Beyond the Arcade is available anywhere? I cant find any info about it. I watched the King of Kongs documentary, they should do more of the genre.

damn that sucks, i know how u feel when theres a game u play, and later its just gone. =/

well the reason pacman is fast is because the default to ms.pacman was changed in the option screen where u change lives an etc. so because mspacman was set to fast pac, pacman also had to be fast, and if it was back to normal speed pacman will be normal, and the sound of the eatin ghost had an error sound.

Yeah i know all that. However i have recently found the same machine (with the code) in a landry matt near were i live. The best part! no speed chip. It bumbs my girlfriend out (she likes the speed chip) but its just great to find one agin. Even better its on my way home from work!

Really good, especially the ghost bios. If you keep learning the more intament parts of a game and using them in the reviews they will increase in overall greatness by 300%.

Also, the scenes with you chasing Blinky with the katana were really funny.
