The tutorial is a trick. you cant beat his score going through it like that. im sure he has a different set of positions he remembers that are much harder to clear the upper helix pegs as well. ridiculous. ive been trying on my touch for a week now and all i can get is 1 mil. fuck that, im going back to clearing all lvls. 32 lvls in! good luck fellow pegglers!

People saying it doesn't work may want to consider things like resolution and aspect ratio messing with mouse positions. Doesn't mean the video is fake, but the author didn't take into account that different monitors will display mouse positioning slightly different.

Ok this should be much easier than actually beating 18m. Maths heads, what is the maximum possible score on this level? It would involve all but one of the oranges being outside the spiral and the one inside being the first one you hit through the hole. Any blues hit on the exterior clear-out would have to be pink pegs and you'd need the spooky ball as well as, obviously, the triple score.

I like your approach--but there's no reason the ball couldn't hit a few extra blue pegs after clearing the helices. Spooky ball (or multiball) would increase the number you could hit. But it'd be very difficult to determine the maximum possible number--you'd have to write a simulation program, like the algorithm they use for Zenball, but more comprehensive.

I have both peggle extreme and peggle deluxe, problem, Extreme has 10 levels, deluxe has 55, Extreme has 1 character, Deluxe has 10. I prefer deluxe over extreme over that reason

I think your score could definitly be beaten, u just have to keep resetting the level untill more reds are in the middle. Also, if you rolled a multiball or 2 on your spin you would get more score.

robowurmz - The whole point was to see if it was possible to beat the 13.5 Mil shot and/or to clear the outer pegs w/o hitting the center ones without cheating. Mission achieved. Why? Because i had the time and inclination, I enjoy the game and having bought it ..I got the most from it. I was also sceptical about clearing the outer pegs but rather than post another unfounded comment (like all the others on the 13.5Mil thread) I made the effort and tried and found it wasnt that difficult.

Ivb - Use the full screen option. It defaults to 800x600. if you cant get full screen to work then set your desktop. Yes some positions are more blurry than I'd like. Use the most logical location in that area there arnt many combos.

Pwncakes - I have AMD PC Ver 1.01 other vers / platforms may vary. Hell even different FPU / processors may vary how the ball bounces ... if you bought through steam then you could delete the game using the steam control center window and then re-download it.

What resolution do you have your computer screen at? It's almost impossible to match up shots exactly. I do good up until that last shot on the left, and the shots on the right because of the differing resolutions it's very difficult to find the right pixel. I tried playing on 1024x768, but it's still not quite right, I'm going to fiddle with resolutions until I find a match, but for others it might make your tutorial work better if you posted your resolution as well.

You clearly know nothing about probability seeing how the chance of getting a triple score with two green pegs is not 2/8, rather it is 9/16. Hitting the two pegs has sixteen possible outcomes, nine of which include hitting a triple score. Send me a message if you want a math tutor.
