Lorbek is a great player, we are going to enjoy him playing in Spain this season. He is one of the most talented guys and with better post moves I've ever seen. He deserves to be in the best 5 of this eurobasket.

He trully is outstanding player, but this year on Eurobasket he wasn't the best.... His game was miserable in first rounds, in final matches he finally get into the mood. I think that he wasn't good enough for MVP, but on the other side, without him, Spain would have ended the tournament in the group behind UK!

The statistic isn't everything, i don't think so. You say that lorbek play every game from the beginning till end, and why he did not score as points, rebounds, blocks ....as Gasol?? Gasol scored more points ,did more blocks and rebounds playing less time than Lorbek, and his % was better............. He was the MVP, and everybody was agree with the decision...
Did you think about the physical and psyhical exhaustion? That's why he had more missed shots.

Ok, let's forget the statistics as u say. Gasol is absolutely decisive, once he steps into the court, the game totally changes, the opponent has to adjust the whole defense, and the way he plays, he can do everything, the confidence he gives to the whole team, the sensation that he gives to anybody watching the game is that, he decides, he is unstoppable at fiba level and he impacts the whole game. He is in diferent level than the other stars in this competition. That's why he is the MVP

Don't mix Paus achievements in the past and NBA with this Championship... The statistic isn't the only "thing", that says who is the best.
Lorbek for example, had to play every game from the beginning till end. But even that he didn't have time to rest, he had great statistics.
Teodosić for example: He was the main motivator and the main "engine", that got the Serbs into the finals, his effort was bigger than Pau's.
The statistic isn't everything, remember that.
