Thanks for the unsoliceted advice but I've been living with, breeding and training Bullmastiffs for 30 yrs before that I trained Hunter Jumper horses, I don't control the dogs with the lead I control them with my body language. I would sooner throw myself in front of an on coming car than put one of my dogs at risk! So there was NO risk!
I'm no expert but i do own a male bullie.You should train the dog in a fenced in area.When that tail goes up in the air you have no chance of holding that boy back.Wether he's socialized or not you won't hwave the strength to hold him back.
