Uri's the one who got Martin Bashire to do the interview. He was approached by several different people who would've done a much better job, but Uri turned them down. Uri has had anorexia, is a known fraud, has never had a respectable job in his life, etc. Why Jackson surrounded himself with losers like this guy is beyond me.

There's one thing that bothers me about Uri's story. First he said he's never seen Michael using drugs, second he said he only saw the aftermath, and lastly he said he slept near Michael's bed to be sure no one came in the room to "drug him"... So which is it? Did someone do it to him, or did Michael do it to himself? Not even his best friend Uri seems to know. Sorry, but this story doesn't sounds kosher to me.

Yes, He was a very close and good friend of Michael, why you say he isn't? he is saying what advised to Michael, not to continuing with those strong medicines or he is going to die!!! I am sure Uri is trying to portray Michael positively but you can see he is acting and over dramatizing on purpose. Makes it hard for me to trust him. He does not feel very sincere to me.. and he was also on Michael's 'enemy' list. I do like that he is trying to make a positive documentary about Michael though..

It is a pity that people like Uri were not closer to Michael. He could have kept him away from the bad people. It is important that good people be forceful sometimes. As you says though, you have to be very careful so as to not alienate the person you are trying to help. Unfortunately, what Uri says about Michael's father is also true. The bad people kept him away too. He always had Michael's genuine interests at heart. Uri was obviously a true friend.

Eventhough Michael never knew me when I started hearing stories that Michael wasn't feeling well and was depending on drugs I was just as concerned as Uri was. Especially when the 50 shows were announced. I had never been to a show but I knew that Michael would need alot of energy and he wasn't taking care of himself. The love that I had for Michael was the unconditional love. I didn't care about shows I just wanted Michael to stay alive.
