Nothing like getting up in the morning, perusing through YouTube, drinking a cup of peppermint tea with honey and listeing to the two of the most underrated vocalists/musician's the rock scene has ever come across. I admit I am a fan of one (JLT), whoeheartedly, for years (26), and Glenn (via his years in Deep Purple-Mark III and IV editions). each musician compliment each other so well;-). This song, taken from the second HTP album HTP II, (I'm always) "Losing MY Head" for JLT and Glenn!!!
It'd be awesome if they got together to make music, but it´s quite unlikely ... Both are engrossed in their own bands and , unfortunatly , I don't think they would find the idea so appealing... Both of them like to stand on the spotlight alone...
Haha, no I don't. But he is pretty good. Slightly less talanted then Graham Bonnet, Glenn Hughes, Sebastian Bach, Jorn Lande, Ronnie Dio, Rob Halford and some more people I forgot...
I like Hughes better, but JLT outsang him in this performance. Not that it's a competion or sorts, tough. Both are still excellent singers.
And it's funny how nobody's commenting about Akira Kajiyama's guitar merits. He's a terrific player and should be more recongized. Thank God he stopped that senseless shredding performances he stepped into when he was younger.
Dont mean to bitch but what has Hughes done besides Burn that was worth remembering... If not for Blackmore he would have been another screamer in the funk scene... Joe is a good singer, he did really well on the Rainbow albums, and guess what the songs had real commercial success. Malmsteen owes a lot of success to JLT as well...
So please dont dismiss JLT simply because GH has a wider range...

Hughes has wasted his talent over the last 30 years in and out of bands and donkey turner well if it was not for Blackmore no one would of herd of him he is shit Hughes drowns him out not bad for a base player

I liked Hughes with purple in the 70's and very much when he made Burning Live in Japan, if u havent listened to it then do. Fantastic album. Then Glen got into funk and Htp and the farther he went the worse it got. as for Turner i never liked him either he never had a wide range like Gillan. But i mean its different for everybody!
JLT BEST singer EVERRRRRRRRRRRR
