This is a dishonorable job in today's world. Too many bad cops. They will let you pass even with failed lie detector's. Wow! Cops are the biggest fucking liars. Go to all jury summons and let every person off when it is a he/she said citizen versus cop. Every single time I let defendant walk. I know that cops lie. I will never miss another jury summons. Hahahahaha

This is the Ventura County Sheriff's Academy located in Ventura County California. There academy is right next to the Camarillo Airport in Camarillo California. This academy is i think 6 months long.

I graduated about 9 years ago from this academy. And let me tell you it was fun, but at times it could also be hard. overall im glad i stuck with it. I wouldnt do anything else today. My call sign at the academy was 1 charlie 12

depends on the department. there's age requirements and educational requirements. again all depends on the department.

what if u fail the academy? do u get kicked out or get a second chance?

You must maintain at least 80% on the overall grade. If you fail an exam, you will have one more chance to retake it. If you fail the retake examination then you will be seperated from the academy. You can always re-apply but you have to start over.
