  • Boring and incredibly bad acting.

  • Ben barnes was so much better as king caspian x in voyage of the dawn treader cause he didn't have that ridiculous accent

  • It's a knight from my chess set.

    Which one?

Well, I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in Finkley.

  • I love this film and all his actors, in particular the 5 protagonistics...

William Moseley is very beatiful and sympathetic !!! =)

  • the music with the intro is awesome!!

  • so lemme get this straight .. Aslan was hiding for a HUNDRED years waiting for the return of 4 Kids who did nothing but to get 90% of the narnians Killed and almost got themselves killed at it while he could have just roared at those trees and that water Jesus all along and ended the Telmarines and everything ... noo he just had to do it the (WTF) way.......

  • my friends think i look like prince caspian

  • @brandonsilva96 they're wrong :P

  • Caspian: I am Prince Caspian

    Me: oh yes you are...

  • andrew adamson is the best regisseur :)

he made a great movie again!!!

  • BEN BARNES!!! EEPP!!!

  • Prince Caspian is incredible movie which touched my heart. Cudos to the movie producer and strong reccomenations to the viewers.

  • middle earth? middle east?

  • It's a war movie. Why critisize the fighting? If there was less of it, you'd be wondering why there were fewer battles in a war movie.

  • i love this movie and the books and the music :D

  • i like his accent <3

  • racist ?

  • This is beutiful!!!!!!!!!!The film is fantastic and I don't listen music like music from Narnia!!!!!!!!!

  • KING PETER, HE WILL NEVER DIE

  • and i can eat eggs, like you:)

  • cry baby,cry baby,cry baby!!! bwahahahahaha!!!

  • who,s the crybaby now?!! hahahahahahahaha

  • You are

  • lotr crap crap crap crap crap crap crap

    craaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppp

    craaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppp

    craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i agree, but i like all three of the series

  • I have to disagree. Narnia and Harry Potter both hav complex plots that go back on themselves and reveal that every detail has a meaning. The simple fact is that Lewis (incidentally good frinds with tolkien) was writing for a younger age and he was trying to convey a deeper meaning and message by his books. Tolkien was simply writing for the pleasure and his own imagination. The fact is that you have to Want to see the depth in stories or it just won't show itself.

  • what i wanted to mean is that there is no deep history for both narnia and hp. i mean the founders of hogwarts... we don't really know anything about them and countless other things. i love harry potter and narnia books they are a great read ! but they are not on the lotr level . i don't know why i got 3 thumb downs for my comment :S it my opinion anyway

  • @jonkind of course theirs no explanation of the founder of Hogwart, because its about HARRY POTTER himself.. we dont need to go back to the past. all we need to know is the adventure of harry potter not the hogwarts founder.. the title doesnt mean the history of Hogwarts...!!

  • @gryffindor1623 well there should be

  • its absolutly not true that tolkien hasnt got any deeper message, actually lewis came to this ebcause of tolkien+ tolkien went way further then any other writer ever did... read all the books not just the middle earth ones

  • @TheOneAndOnlyIt I couldn't agree more. If you ask me Adults although intelligent forget to look deeper sometimes and remember that its whats in between the lines that shows the true fantasy. After all you cant see all the wonders of the ocean by skimming the top and looking through. You have to dive in. :)

  • @VintageRose503 Very well put

  • lotr crap crap crap crap!!!!!!!!

    u crap!!! hahahahahahaaa

    poor u?!!!

maybe u should be on lotr, that way u'll shut the hell up!!

whatever u say i don't care about ur lotr..if u think ur lotr is the best?!! then so shall be it!! we don't care!!

  • He's a right retard I love this film and i don't care what he says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bllaaahhhh bllaaaahhh bllaaahhh!!!

    u talk to much!!!!

we narnians do't wanna scoop down to your level!!!

    so cheap!!

why don't you juz shut the hell up!!

  • LOTR is above Narnia's level.. think what you want, LOTR will always own Narnia.. You Narnians are stupid and useless to argue with. LOTR has more fans and more popularity so whose on a higher level??

Come back and talk to me about which one is in a higher level when you get to know it.. Do some research on them both. See which 1 did better in box-office and which did better critically.. LOTR owns Narnia!! We LOTR fans don't need to scoop down to Narnia craap!! LOTR owns!!

  • If you put it that way then the Harry Potter phenomenon owns over all. But I don't put it that way. Did you know you're rather immature?

  • Comment removed

  • hu's stupid fuckin jealous?!!! us?the narnia fans!!!

    hhaaaaaaaaa!!

    the hell with you!

f ur so much of an lotr fans save ur comments for your stupid lotr and not here in narnia!!!

this is all about narnia not ur stupid lotr!!!

  • I can comment wherever I want, and I can use my comments on LOTR and your stupid Narnia, LOTR is always better than stupid Narnia and you stupid Narnia cunts don't need to tell me where to comment, I am commenting on stupid Narnia because Narnia sucks and LOTR would shit over Narnia..

This is all about how LOTR would shit over stupid Narnia..

HAHAHAHA, Narnia is a failed piece of shit!! LOTR won Oscars and has more fans....so which is better?? LOTR!!! Narnia is stupid..

  • who cares if you like LOTR!!

    that doesn't count..

u jz couldn't get it over your head that narnia is great..

and the pevensie kids and prince caspian they are great!!

u probably are the one who sucks!!!!

    we luv narnia...

  • I looove this movie, & the books are among my favorites. I love how Lewis made this entirely new world but still kept it slightly familiar with his use of mythology & how he left so much up to the reader's imagination.

Those of you complaining that its 'not as good at LotR', no one really wants to hear your whining. why don't you go comment the LotR videos & leave the Narnia ones alone? It's not for 'loosers', & if your vocab consists of 'fuck, bitches, crap, and gay', please just shut up.

  • Mordor6121512... Narnia one 1 oscar. Not the wonderful 17 that LOTR did but you need to give credit where credit is due!

  • does anyone know the song in the background from 0:00 to 0:18

  • The pathetic battle in this film would get pissed by the Battle of Helm's Deep in LOTR 2!!

  • FUCK YOU, LOTR would fuck all over Narnia, Narnia is a total piece of craap and LOTR is the cinematic masterpiece of this decade!! All the bitches that love Narnia get a friggin life or jump of the fucking cliff, Narnia is for loosers, Lord of the Rings would fuck all over Narnia...

Besides, all the Narnia characters suck, except for that Lion who really kicks ass, those 4 kids are a bunch of stupid loosers and that prince is GAY, and the Witch is pathetic, LOTR is a cinematic masterpiece!

  • cool! very good job! can you also comment on mine one is called awsome movie and click the first one and then the other one is just called narnia stuff or just go to my site and watch them both its easier that way!

  • I love Lord of the Rings.

I also love the Chronicles of Narnia. Prince Caspian was my favourite book, and I'm really impressed with the movie!

  • Ben Barnes! love him!

  • i lovedddd this movieeeee

  • Okay the narnian movie are way above the harry potters but the harry potter books to the narnian books are way over narnia.

  • Yeah and Lord of the Rings books and movies shit on both Harry Potcock and Narnia books and movies!!

    Narnia = 2 films = 0 Oscars

    LOTR = 3 films = 17 Oscars

    Harry Potcock = 5 films = Oscars

JRR Tolkien would kick CS Lewis and JK Rowling's asses

  • Mordor6121512-

What the hell is your problem?

We don't give a shit if you like LOTR.

WE like The Chronicles of Narnia!

Are you trying to convince us of something? 'Cause if you are, its not working.

  • Who cares if loosers like you like The Chronicles of Narnia. All I am saying is LOTR would fuck all over shitty Narnia. Narnia is for loosers, anyone who likes LOTR better than Narnia knows what Epic Fantasy really is, JRR Tolkien is a better writer than CS Lewis, and I dont care if they were friends...

Sauron is a better villain than that stupid White Witch!!

  • Mordor6121512-

Seriously dude, you need to chill the fuck out.

Its a matter of opinion of which series is better, nothing else.

And loser is only spelled with one "o", FYI. :)

  • I think the devil got into you buddy

  • Maybe you should write a book about those feelings, yeah?

  • Lord of the Rings is still da best!Bt Narnia is a nice too!

  • Tolkien is better writer than Lewis. He created mythologi and new languages, which Lewis have never invented. But both are great authors and so the books. Please, before criticizing try to write books like LOTR og create such movie!

  • bitch !!!

  • Lord of the Rings still wins over everything for me.

  • Caspian is so freakin' hot, but nobody will ever quite top Peter in that category in my opinion. Oh, well, they're both SO HOT AND SO BRAVE! Lucy's really grown up (I love the long hair!), so's Edmund especially, but I love the Suspian (Susan/Caspian) romance! I wasn't so sure about it at first, since it wasn't in the books and therefore was probably not technically "canon", but the director made it really sweet. Amazing movie!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until I get the DVD!!!

  • i freakin love this movie!!!

  • only lord of the rings be number one untill now

at least in my mind !

  • No fantasy series will ever top Lord of the Rings

  • hi the next movie is silver chair that will b great just got done with all the books =P

  • i heard Dawn Treader is at May 7th 2010

  • So does anyone else get ridiculously giddy when ben barnes goes "i am prince caspian"? i mean, he just has to sit there and say it and i'm drooling like an idiot...great movie...amazing!

  • I do!!!!! I love his accent! And his hair! And every thing else about him! :) I was watching the trailer over and over just pausing it on him and looking at him. I still haven't seen the movie though. :'(

  • **gasp** it really is incredible...

  • I really want to see it, because I missed it when it was in theaters. :'( Do you know any websites where I can watch it for free?

  • they got his hair wrong. was supposed to be blonde but i guess they changed it form the book

    =/

  • watch movies free at tvscreenonline•com

  • OMFG Caspian is so beautiful!! i remember seeing the trailer for this and when he introduces himself my heart dropped and i nearly swore out loud and i squirmed in my seat like i giiiiiirrl. lol

  • DRAGONNNNNNNNN BALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ZZZZZZZZZZZ!! jk

  • He Is The World's Sexiest Man!!!!!!!!!

  • Double-v tee eff? That is a huge understatement! This movie is awesome :p

  • not all scenes its for all audiences... verry much scenes it's not for children!

  • Don't listen to this miserable idiot.

  • I liked this one a lot. The first time I saw it was when the theater was packed and I sat on the front row which made it all the more better actually being in the action

  • my fave movie..

  • My fav too

  • And mine!!!

  • Mine too!!!

  • awsome movie.... ben barnes is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i luv him 2 bits... nd his sword!!! goodbye narnia ppl!!!! i heart caspian!!!xxxxxxxxxx

  • I think so too! Ben is so HOT, he makes this film more special!!!

  • I really really liked this one...

i wish that susan had of stayed there with caspian....

it would have made it even better :D

  • i didnt like this 1 the first 1 was way better

  • u hav 2 take in2 consideration that the lion the witch and the wardrobe was one of the best books in the series while prince caspian wasnt rlly all that gr8

  • it was ok, id have to say the silver chair was the worst, it was stupid with that emerald witch and all. But I read it and regardless of my opinion i suggest it cus it was a good read,].

  • rlly? i must say i liked the silver chair it wasnt one of my favorites but it was still good in my opinion the horse & his boy was the worst altho the books did go down hill once the pevensies left thank goodness theyre back 4 the last battle (excluding susan) a little neway

  • 04140106088

  • this one is more voilent then the first

  • i just saw that @ 2:00 wth my friend it was AWESOME!

  • awesome movie:D

  • f youtube it always dostn load or says vidio is not avaible

  • God!! This movie was SO SO good!!! I expected it to be a kiddie flick, but it was such an awesome action movie (WAY better than the first one). It also helped that all the guys were SO FRIGIN' SEXY!!!! Edmund, Peter, and Caspian are all smokin' hot guys WITH BRITISH ACCENTS!! Peter and Edmund better be in the next one (only 2 of main 4 are returning). The hell w/ Susan and Lucy! (JK)

  • No it didnt. In the end they get saved by trees and god in the form of a tidal wave. What the hell. And it was a kiddie flick. Woo talking animals, and magic!

  • um prince caspians gunna be in the rest of the movies that they make for this seris.

  • peter annd susan are gone ):

  • i liked the first one better. i still like this one but there's too much fighting and there's not really a point to prince caspian. but enjoyed it. can't wait for the dvd.

  • i loved the book and the movie^^

  • Caspian and Susan are lovers? I was like WTF during the movie. But i still liked it, nicely toned. If C.S Lewis were here to watch this movie, he would have gotten horny.

  • they are tiny action figures

  • They make them look many

  • does anyone know the song in the background from 0:00 to 0:18

  • Prince Caspian was so much better than The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Susan was a useless denigration of women in the first movie, but she's a serious BAMF in this one. And as for Caspian himself, be still my beating heart. I liked Aslan less in this movie. I loathed him in the book but liked him in the first movie. Oh well, Prince Caspian is better in every other respect so sacrificing my liking of the Liam Neeson lion is a reasonable trade-off.

  • Oh, and for everyone who is saying Aslan blamed the tragedy of the Night Raid on Lucy, please remember what was really said in that scene. Lucy asked Aslan, "If I'd have come earlier...then everyone who died...could I have stopped that?" Aslan wasn't blaming Lucy, Lucy herself was! And Aslan replied to her, saying, "Nobody knows what *could have* happened".

Anyway, PC is now my new favorite movie! I saw it twice in theaters and I loved it!! 8D And I hope they keep getting better!!

  • GO TWILIGHT!!

  • they copied LORD OF THE RINGS!!!! dude almost everything is copied!they even copied the tree part!

  • Well...actually, looking like a copy of LOTR is unavoidable, no matter what any film maker today can do. Narnia author C.S. Lewis was J.R.R. Tolkien's best friend, and Tolkien used to read passages from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit out loud to Lewis in private, years before Lewis wrote Narnia Chronicles. Guess who influenced whom. Kudos to Lewis for all his other scholarly writings, but I have to say Narnia looks like a copycat attempt.

  • Actually, Tachie, Lewis and Tolkien influenced each other. There is no real similarities between the two series that I can pinpoint. It's like comparing apples and oranges. I would much rather be in Narnia than Middle-Earth anyway. ^_^

  • Ive watched the whole movie and trust me,no mystical ring or mount doom or army of ghosts popped up

  • well it was in the book...

  • Duh! C.S. Lewis and Tolkien were best mates. They used to tell each other stories at the pub. And Tolkien stole the tree bit. Birnam Wood come to Dunsinane ring a bell? He wrote about the Ents going to war because he was disappointed Shakespeare didn't have the ACTUAL trees of Birnam Wood marching on Dunsinane.

  • Good movie, though I enjoyed the first one better--I'm glad I saw it and I hope they make another!

  • i like this movie...ben barnes are hot..nice appearance..

  • can't be worse than AVP Requiem or....Gigli can it?

  • I dont know why i just thught it was a little boring

  • guys. prince caspian (ben barnes) and peter (william mosely) are fricken hot. what else do you need in this movie, other than action, which it had??

FYI william mosely did all the stunts himself in this movie.

  • There werent any stunts

  • narnia kicked ass...and ur an old fart so y the hell r u rating this movie...its just like with transformers all these old lil nasties called it a terrible movie...b/c their old...but that movie was so good...look from a kids point of view...jeeeezz

  • APOCALIPSE 22

  • I liked this movie. It was pretty good.

  • everyone's comenting on the movie.. the only thing I have to say is that the guys in this movie got waaay cuter ;)

  • It only seems as if he/she(6neatguys) Was thinking Aslan just had to come, show himself at once and there the movies over.

Jesus does not just come here and kill the criminals and murderers does he? Only my opinion, nothing else, i don't want to start a fight about it.

  • understandable. and i agree, fighting is not the answer. but i think, from a theological point of view that Aslan possibly should have had more of an active role, but maybe not saving the day. throughout the film he is mentioned. as a mentor, as Jesus was said to be during his days on earth, Aslan should have appeared sooner to at least Lucy. Now, he shouldnt have stepped in, saved the day. that was for the Children and Caspian to do. But he could have given them alittle more aid.

  • in the book, he does come along earlier. disney changed that

  • Aslan didn't save the day in the book either. Peter did. But the whole point in the novel is that, though God/Aslan might not always be present, he is always there to provide support, guidance, and inspiration. This is what Lewis, one of the world's greatest theologians, sought to convey, and this is what was lost in translation to the film.

The film made it look as if the three eldest children were cut off and abandoned by God. Is that a Christian outlook? I think not.

  • I think it made the ending quite good, actually. To me, it didn't look as though Peter and Susan were abandoned by Aslan. I think they explained it well enough. :3

  • Jesus also didn't come to pin the deaths of hundreds of people on a little girl. But Aslan did in the movie. If you reread the book, you'll find the Christian Allegory is SO much stronger there than in the film.

Also, don't call this a fight. It's not a fight. Fighting is what goes on if you go to the Indiana Jones comment pages (so many f-words). This is a debate. Intelligent debate, which acccomplishes far more than any fight could.

  • I actually must have missed that part. :( but naturally any kind of allegory is going to be stronger in a book than it is on screen. Lewis is well known for his ability to make his characters have more depth. it is almost a pity one cannot bring that same depth to the screen. I wonder partially if the fact that none of the other children could see Aslan was symbolic of the trials of faith we all must face in reality.

  • You don't remember it? Right near the end when Aslan shows up *finally* (way later than he did in the book) and is talking to Lucy? He says he should've kept them all from going to fight at the castle. As if she could've stopped them. What more could she do but stay behind, which she did?

And you're right. It was supposed to mean trials of faith. But the point in the book was that they all resolved their trials and knew God/Aslan. This inspired them to win the battle.

  • Oops. Sorry. I meant:

"He says she should've kept them all from going to fight at the castle." My bad.

  • And yes, it didnt follow the book totally, but it was an awesome movie, yes, there was some more Drama added, but all the more entertaining! And i know for a fact C.S Lewis would be happy because his step-son was on the radio the other day, who would know him better than his son?

  • Tell that to Tolkien. His son screwed up the movies pretty bad.

  • Who really needs to grow up Tmag? The Person who says their opinion once or twice, or the person who goes ON and ON insulting the movie, the story and people who like it,

    GET A LIFE.

Clearly you don't have one cause you're on here 24/7 insulting everyone and everything you can get your paws on.

  • I disagree with the statement that only those who are entertained by the battle scenes will find this movie to be well done. the fact of the matter is, this movie, despite its conflicts with the book, is a very entertaining film. True, it does not stay completely to the series, but come on people, what movie really can do a book justice? I give Prince Caspian an A if it must be graded. Well done.

  • Lots of films come to mind. To Kill A Mockingbird, The Prestige, and The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe, to name a few. Now, I don't mind a little variation. The whole castle scene and stuff wouldn't have been too bad, but they turned it into a competition between Peter and Caspian to see who was more manly, which was definitely against both their characters. And then they pinned the blame of all that wanton death on the most helpless of characters. If you're adapting a book, at least try.

  • i agree that many movies do a good job at creating the movie to be quite alike. however, one of my main issues with todays critics is that many take the words "based on" and assume that when a movie is made after that book that it is meant to be just the same. Personally, I think the rivalry between the two kings kept me interested, but, to others that might not be the case. they did try to stay true to the book. But they are also subject to the demand of today's movie go-ers as well. :)

  • I know that it was an interesting storyline. But if you can't keep to the original story, either don't make it or make up your own (and your own characters). I understand variation, but when the fundamentals of the characters go wrong the original intent of the author is lost, or at best clouded.

  • I love this movie, we laughed the whole way through the battle sequences because it reminded me so much of LOTR. But it was a great movie.

  • As an installment in the series... this movie was Terrible! If it was a stand alone movie that had nothing to do with Narnia it could be all right. They destroyed the characters (except Reepicheep and the Bulgy Bear), and slaughtered the storyline. I wish I had not spent my ten bucks to see it. Waste of time and money.

  • THANK YOU, sixdotwire! Finally people who read the books speak out against this tripe. Caspian and Peter were blasphemed! And they made all that senseless fighting at the castle, including the slaughter of, like, fifty Narnians, LUCY's fault. Lucy's? How can Aslan blame that on her? And speaking of Aslan, how come he shows up 3 acts late?

    This movie sucked.

  • 6neatguys, Clearly you're not a Christian because Aslan, Clearly plays the role as Jesus or God.. and he can't always hand them everything on a platter, he needed to let them fight it out and learn, if he just came and killed all the bad guys , snap, just like that, What would Peter and the rest have learned?

  • horselover, what does 6neatguys' religion have to do with his statement? yes, i agree that Aslan may have a christian background, Lewis stated as much, but in criticing a movie, or others statements, the debate of religion is almost pointless. he doesn not require a religion to voice an opinion. Just a mind. Please, understand that yes, you have a point in the basic structure of Aslan, but do not assume you know ones religion based on their opinion. And I do not mean that in a harsh way.

  • Thanks, TheFrozenQueen.

  • Actually, I'm a total Catholic. And I love the Christian allegory. And I'm not saying what they did wasn't consistent. I'm saying it wasn't consistent *with the original work or characters.* He wasn't supposed to come and kill the bad guys, and I don't believe I said that. The allegory was in the book. What WASN'T in the book was the senseless slaughter caused by Peter wanting to prove he had bigger kahunas than Caspian.

  • Oh, I see now where the confusion is. I didn't say that he should save the day. I said he came in late. Which he did. He revealed himself to all the children very shortly after Lucy saw him in the book. As they began to follow, they began to see him. In the movie, he kept them in the dark the whole time, which is not what Christ did, I can tell you now. The children were like Thomas: they didn't believe. But when they followed, they soon saw the truth.

  • I LOVED THE MOVIE! it was so AWESOME!

  • Wow they go in to a wardrobe and go to a magic land with swords and arrows and big birds. Just like wacko Jacko's house except when you go into a wardrobe you normally raped then you go to Neverland.

Trust me I speak from experience.

  • I saw the movie the weekend it came out & in my own opinion it was Incredible. I was hooked all the way threw & i personally found it so much better then the first movie.

    A+

  • Good Glory, Lighten up will ya'? Get. A. Life. Or is your life insulting people?

  • did anyone die in this movie?

  • ME all the time

  • I believe this movie will be great! (I haven't got the chance to watch it because in Germany it comes until the 31st July! Can you believe it! Until July!) And I aldo got to add I'm in love with a certain someone: Ben Barnes!

  • Yeah, whats wrong with good effects? O.O why so many insults the movie was amazing!

  • Prince Caspian looks like William Beckett from The Academy Is...; so hott

  • Wow, Tmag, you seem to only be able to resort to insults.

  • i love peter

  • this sucks!

im in australia and we still havent gotten the movie yet!

it come out in june......im really desperate to watch it!!!!!

why cant australia just premier its movies when america does?

  • The way everyone keeps describing every movie they've seen recently as "The greatest movie I've ever seen," it has become apparent that our attention spans are becoming very limited. Try watching some of the classics instead of the CGI filled crap that gets shoved down our throats week to week. Good special effects do not mean that the movie is good, there was a time when movies were driven by story line and good acting.

  • Maybe not, but just because a movie relies heavily on CGI doesn't necessarily mean it's doesn't have a good story or characters. Would you rather they go back to the old way of animating fantasy elements in a live action movie, eg: petes dragon? Or just people in animal suits? Or stop-capture animation? And just becuase there's a lot doesn't make it less worthwhile.

  • I didn't say that if a movie had alot of CGI that it must have a bad story line. I for one loved Lord of the Rings. More than anything I'm simply commenting on how much more movies are beginning to rely on CGI and sacrifice storyline take Spider-man 3 and Xmen 3, both movies used alot more than either of their predessors, and yet both of them are regarded as the worste in their series. personally I wish they would use lowertech methods such as actually filming on location instead of green screen
