this was a cool quote but could someone tell me the whole point to these episodes? It was advertised as revealing the secret of the chosen one but we learned nothing. All the characters had their memories erased so they learned nothing. that's a whole lot of nothing

@nohomers100 They're going to reveal more about the significance of Mortis and the prophecy as the clone wars goes on. No way they would do a story that signigicant and then just drop it right after. And they didn't have their memories erased. The only time that happened was when the father erased Anakin's memories of the future.

@PadawanLinea where are you getting your info? If they are going to do a follow up story fine but this particular story line told us absolutely nothing. Also, they did indeed erase their memories they comment on how they remember going to the planet but nothing else

@nohomers100 Watch the end of the episode again. They never lost their memories or said that they didn't remember anything that happened. And as for seeing the ramifications of Mortis coming up sometime later in the show, that quote came directly from Dave Filoni himself.

@nohomers100 Odds are Obi-Wan thought everything that the Son told Anakin was a complete lie & thought it had no effect on the the actual timeline outside of Mortis. So no screwing up continuity. I will admit that, like you, I am baffled about how Mortis is important, and even how that third episode played out confused me since it seemed kind of...useless. Even so, there's no continuity fail. Like I said, they wouldn't bring up something as important as the Force without finishing it later.

@PadawanLinea Seems like a bit of a stretch. It just doesnt jive with his reaction to finding out anakin had turned evil in Ep3. He seemed utterly shocked by it and really didnt want to fight him either. Seems like if he remembered this he would have been like "its just like Mortis all over again" Maybe the writers should have thought about that before they made this

@nohomers100 The vision happened only to Anakin, the other two probably had no visions, since only Anakin was the point of interest of The Father and the children. The Obi Wan and Ashoka from Mortis were those parts of Anakin's psyche that were projected on those two.

Obi-wan didn't know what the vision was, only that Anakin saw something, nor did he believe Anakin to be quite lost yet, and seeing Anakin all normal next time they met probably made him dismiss the fear as nonsense. And since he never will know what Anakin saw, and the Father did erase it. I think Obi-wan just didn't fear anything.
