Have you noticed whether or not the pink hair dye makes you bangs healthier? I know most Special Effects and Manic Panic are ade from veg oil, so they usually don't damage your hair, but does it make it any healthier or repair the damager from bleaching at all? Your blonde hair's in pretty good condition anyway. I only ask because i've got platinum blonde hair also, and after 4 years my poor hair is pretty worse for wear, fo i'm thinkin' pink may be the go. Thoughts?

Anyone who ask if they HAVE to bleach no, if your hair is a cole black then it would be best to bleach or if you don't want to hurt it dye it blond but if you bleach it you should no when the colour goes away you'll have a white/sliver/blonde hair and that will last til you re dye it

@x0xcupcakex0xo This a really good dye. Once you rinse out your dye, you set it with ice cold water. It shouldn't bleed after that:o) Hope that helped!

@caryaa I would suggest you go to a Sally Beauty Supply store. Never buy a box to bleach your hair. It will fry the ends. I use to do it all the time when I was in high school and would have horrible breakage. Check out my video on "Blondes Have More Fun" for info on the bleach I use. Hope that helped:o)

@cassidysrequests My Mother totally freaked out when I told her on the phone that I dyed my hair pink. She loved it once she saw it:o) I'm an adult so she couldn't say much to me though.

Just tell your Mother that it's just hair. It will fade out if she doesn't like it. Also tell her that you will keep up and maintain it so it always looks nice. Maybe start out with a small streak under the hair os it's just peaking out.

@saskelovesBillandTom If you are just wanting it to be a tint, then you can just dye over the black. If you want it bold, the nyou will have to lighten it. I've never used the Manic Panic. I have heard that they make an Extreme line that is nice.

also.. if anyone needs to bleach hair before going a bright colour, rinse your bleach out first, as normal, and instead of waiting a few days, put the colour in straight away, it makes the colour hold longer. don't condition your blonde (ie when you wash the bleach out) before putting the colour in either

best pink=Manic Panic Amplified, very bright pink that lasts aaaages - mine has been pink for several years, and i get about 3 months out of each colouring!!

TIP FOR LONGER LASTING COLOUR, when you rinse out your colour, after the water runs clear, then tip a mix of 1/2 and 1/2 water+WHITE vinegar, helps set it and make it last longer. the less hair products, gel, hairspray etc, you use.. the longer the colour lasts

@diianaanaiib For brown hair, I think a nice blonde would be pretty peaking out from underneath the bangs. My sister has long dark brown almost black hair and she has red underneath in the back of her head. It's very pretty:o) Hope that helped some!
